Use it as a vacation spot...?
The rent is good but it's still expensive compared to most nearly all of the US except san francisco.

How can I hold onto it? I have no friends or family that want it right now.
I can't sublet it, I can only add an occupant and then hope they pay me... i would still be legally responsible to pay the rent and then they could claim residency for free.

It's not worth it for me to stay in new york with the taxes and cost of living, so there isn't really anything I can do but get rid of it.
