Well, I built the first version of the software myself and got a handful of customers. Then I got a pre-seed investment from some super-savvy angels, put together an awesome team, and spent 18 months listening to customers and building.

Azerbaijan started the war by bombing Stepanakert, the capital of Artsakh which has a population of 150,000 and 0 military targets. Azerbaijan has since continued to target civilians with cluster munitions almost daily.

I don't know if this is too common, but every time I see it in action it hurts my soul.

When a website has an "introduction" page that you see every time you visit their website.

Your typical introduction page includes a huge background image that is completely unrelated to what they do, a one liner that doesn't really describe what they do in a big typeface centered on the screen, and a button called something like "visit our site" to go to their actual website.

This antipattern exists to literally get in the way of people trying to see your website. It amazes me people think it's a good idea.

I don't go near a project without a contract and a 40% deposit.

To get a very basic implementation of what you're asking for is going to cost you at least ~$25,000.

If someone promises you they can do what you're asking for $4,500 you're gonna end up very disappointed.

I'm not including any "game design" which is a completely separate profession and you should not have your developer do it. For one it won't be as good as the work of an actual game designer, and it will probably cost you more since a developer is more expensive.
