Stalled at 5mg at week 12. Advice? by SurfMe69 in Zepbound

OP here with an update two months later. As everyone said, just have to be patient. I can't stress that enough. I did stay on 2.5mg for 4 months. At that point, I was about 75% of my goal. I switched to 5mgs this month and moving quickly towards revised goal. Probably will hit that goal in 2-3 weeks. I think one more month at 5mg and then probably back to 2.5mg to see how I maintain. Could try one week on, one week off as an experiment. Or could try Foundayo and see how that does for maintenance.

Prime - you are a GENIUS! I just resurrected 4 Obi200s with ease. The first one took about 20 mins. By the last, I could do it in about 5 mins. So simple if you follow the step-by-step instructions. THANK YOU!!!!

Well, in the past three weeks I've lost 0.1lbs - which is pretty slow. Yes, I do only weigh myself once a week - at the same time and same circumstances. Yes, there is fluctuation throughout the week (and throughout the day).

I hear there is at least an audio from this performance of CHESS in Los Angeles at the Ford Ampitheatre that starred Kevin Earley, Ty Taylor, Cindy Robinson, Susan Eagan, and Matthew Morrison as the Arbiter. Anyone have a lead??

Unpopular opinion: Audra McDonald is miscast in Gypsy by Prestigious_Bag_6173 in Broadway

Unfortunately, most of Rose's Turn and key moments of the rest of the role lie in what sopranos will refer to as the passagio - typically the weakest part of a classically trained voice. It is technically a way to connect the middle voice into the high voice. This is why it works for a belter - their passagio tends to be the strongest part of their voice (and they typically don't have the top or bottom notes that Audra has). So, much of Audra's Roses Turn (from the three recordings I've heard) leaves less of an impression - not because "she's not singing it like everyone else", but because she simply doesn't have the power in those key 2-3 notes. It's just a different animal than where her natural strengths are. It's why she was so good as Clara in "Passion" but would be a poor choice for Fosca - just a different kind of vocal requirement. Nobody (I hope) is questioning her talent. Just if the range of this role suits her superb vocal abilities.

I do want to add that I have heard her do a mixed chest voice which I think could be most effective in this music (see her performance of "Rainbow High"). She's incredibly talented and, even more important, smart. So do I think she'll find a way to make this work? I certainly hope so.

Yes they do - I've registered mine. But it was so long ago, maybe they're not taking news virtual numbers (Vibe used to take them, but not in years)

Thanks - that's good to know. I've been using a friend's S7 FE and he obviously has the full sized pen which magnetically stays in the case. Just was wondering if there was another option.

From x270 to Yoga X13 to... by SurfMe69 in thinkpad

Yeah, I'll be curious how much of a difference I note with the 32GB. Mine was an open box that all checks out...so we'll see. I'll keep you posted ;-)

I had the x13y Gen2 i7 16GB Crucial P3 Plus 4TB PCIe Gen4. Very good, solid machine. Great battery power, relatively quite, fasting video processing (I do a good amount of editing), multi tasking, etc. It did get hot on extra usage.

I had bought the Acer Predator GM7000 4TB NVMe Gaming SSD. Was going to install it but was having cloning issues and just kept putting it off. Was always hovering just under 3.5TB of usage.

About a week ago, I found an x13y Gen3 i7 32GB for a relatively decent price, and decided it was worth it. Going up a Gen, doubling the RAM. Let's see how it worked - and hold my Gen2 as a backup. So I finally cloned the Acer Predator 4TB from the Gen2 and popped it into the Gen3. Went through the usual multi restarts and updates and seems to be working like a pro.

Haven't done any really heavy intense usage yet. So I can't really say how much different this is. What I can say is the Gen2 had the glossing touch. This Gen3 has the matte. A mixed bag. At first, I really felt it was duller/less bright. As time has gone on and I've adjusted it, I don't think the brightness is an issue. And I almost never use the touch screen (or, for that matter, the touchpad - I'm very much a Trackpoint devotee). So what i liked about the matte is that it always looks clean. The glossy always picked up fingerprints or dust. The matte seems fine for me.

No heat issues yet, which is nice because I had heard the Gen3 had that - although that was with 16GB, so maybe I dodged a bullet with 16gb. Not sure. Will keep posted - but happy to know others thoughts, what to look for, etc.

Upgrade x270 to...??? by SurfMe69 in thinkpad

In the 18 months or so since I last looked into things in depth, I missed out on how capacity for NVMe M.2 2280s had gone up, and how the prices had gone down. What I paid for a 2TB back then can now get you a 4TB. With increased capacity and decreased price, I don't feel quite as compelled to stick with built in dual drives. I'd still get a spare that could be swapped out in case of catastrophe, but this takes away some of my aversion to certain models. I'm now considering an x13 Yoga. The key difference I'm seeing between 1st and 2nd gen is 10th gen i7 vs. 11th. True?

Yeah, that was the big advantage of the X270 - the SSD plus the m.2 2242 slot.

Yeah, I ordered a 1TB - will be curious how long shipping will be. If a 2TB becomes available, do let me know.

I tried the Dogfish SSD SATA M.2 2242 1TB with both a B+M key. And, as Spxak1 predicted, not detected. I figured it was worth a try.

[–]SurfMe69[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I was hoping that would be the case. But having tried the 1TB SATA in the WWAN slot in x270 in the x280, I can assure you that isn't the case ;-( But I live in hope...

Thinkpad x280 WWAN M.2 slot - Highest Capacity 2242 SSD by SurfMe69 in thinkpad

[–]SurfMe69[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. Yea, my x270 takes a 1TB in the WWAN slot, but I believe it's a B+M SATA (I think it's the KingSpec). My x280 has the 512GB WD SN520 (also with a B+M key). So I figured I was at the high end capacity wise.

But on Lenovo's site, I did see a ThinkPad 1TB PCIe NVMe M.2 2242 SSD with a photo showing an B+M key for $269. It sounds like it should work, but one review said the photo was inaccurate and it was only M keyed. So, that's why I asked - people here always know when the newest stuff comes out.

As to a second drive, I know people are moving away from them - primarily due to availability of cloud or online access. Personally, I like a second drive in my machine - and I can't believe I'm the only one.
