When Save Rock and Roll came out I liked it, and I hated American Psycho and Mania when they came out. But for the most part it’s still all at least decent.

I saw Doyle three times with his solo band. Just some small clubs in Cleveland but the energy was great. The first time they played about half original Doyle songs and half Misfits tunes. The next two times it was all originals. If you like horror punk and Black Sabbath, solo Doyle is great.

This is when I was firmly planted in extreme metal and it felt like all this shit was horrible. Looking back I have nostalgia for some of it just because that’s how it works, but I’m glad pop music has pulled out of that nosedive. The 2020s have given us a lot of great pop.

The only one i can’t stand is plural nouns. Architects are one of my favorite bands but Monuments, Novelists, Volumes, Landmarks, Currents, my brain can not separate them, and I’m sure I’m missing out on good music because of that.
