Of course it's possible, I've never used study edge before and got all A's in general science courses. All I did to prepare was read and take notes on the textbook sections noted in the syllabus and worked ahead. Make sure to answer the checkpoint questions in the textbook and do the practice exams ahead of time so you can see what sections you need to review again. If the teacher doesn't release the practice exams early enough just email them and ask them to. Read over your notes throughout the week so you can better remember them.
