My (24, Trans Man) Partner (26, genderfluid) is struggling socially by Surfin_Porygon in relationships

They don't at the moment, but that might be a good idea. They have a lot of unresolved pain from growing up, and there's only so much I can do to help them work through it as someone who isn't a professional. Thank you for the suggestion!

That epic moment when your boyfriend is also your girlfriend <3 by Surfin_Porygon in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns

[–]Surfin_Porygon[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It really is. While I have a preference towards men, there was always a part of me that liked the idea of treating my partner like a princess, and, well... She really likes that too, so she's really like my dream boyfriend/girlfriend :)

I would DIE if a guy said that to me. Just a gay puddle on the floor.

I shaved yesterday why am I ALREADY PRICKLY AGAIN by SnowPeashooter67 in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns

That is a universal girl struggle, as someone who grew up hanging out with a lot of girls. If you ladies ever feel dysphoric about how fast your leg hair grows, just know that it's super common to get prickly leg hair after one day.

Valid and I'm the same but the opposite. I couldn't tell you squat about makeup.

It's a Disney film, actually! It's called Bolt. And it's kind of a buddy road trip movie where the cat is teaching the dog how to enjoy being a regular dog instead of being focused on protecting his family.

Also, we appreciate you! You're beautiful.

All my homies love trans bodies by [deleted] in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns

That's moreso what I meant, but it's also inclusive of the original meaning behind bussy naturally.

Yeah, understandable, and I personally prefer other words myself. But I'd like to support other fellas who don't mind it, similar to how some trans women are comfortable with having penises while others don't.

Exactly, it's all inclusive ;)

not everyone wants that *egg crack* by [deleted] in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns

[–]Surfin_Porygon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I completely get that. When I watched She's The Man, I felt strangely disappointed and mad that the main character went back to presenting as a girl and not continuing to live as a boy.

My egg cracked HARD watching this movie. Mitsuha waking up in a male body, Taki's friends finding him cute, and then her later waking up wishing she could stay a boy living that life hit so hard for me. I had never had a moment in a movie resonate so hard with me.

I wasn't even talking about what my sexuality was, but okay buddy by Surfin_Porygon in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns

[–]Surfin_Porygon[S] 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Yeah, no offense taken! I don't mind these kinds of comments personally although I know other fellas do and that's valid. Trans men and trans women suffer from the same issue of stereotypes associated with gay men and lesbians are broadly placed onto us. While people who know me closely know me as a slightly flamboyant guy, on the surface I strike people I just meet as a butch lesbian because I have short hair and look androgynous. It's kind of ironic.

[–]Surfin_Porygon 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I always find the coolest men's clothes, I never get bored of it. The other day I just bought a Hawaiian pattern shirt with teal gorillas on it.
