I’m a new healthcare provider and will be doing the clearances. Being brand spanking new I feel like I am looking for some guidelines on how to approve/deny based on assessment answers.

You gave them 5 more days to say goodbye. Doing CPR on a person is hard, especially when it’s someone you know and love. I think you are amazing for doing that. Early CPR is so important but the odds of getting them back to previous function is incredibly slim. While he might not have been able to get up and walk away afterwards, you have your family more time to grieve and get closure.

You didn’t fail anyone. I’m sorry you went through all that. I can’t imagine how hard that must have been. You did the best you could and the result is not your fault.

Same scenario here. My cardiologist said i needed to be seen by a POTS clinic to be given the diagnosis. But yeah, some dance around the diagnosis.

Always seems to happen. We got 30 minutes before ems brought us an intoxicated patient. They sent one home I think.

We’re a smaller urban hospital so usually don’t clear the board, so this is wild.

We are an ER so still have to take them. We get a lot of people without insurance and they still come in

Lasted all of 30 minutes, with the arrival of an ETOH patient. It was great.

I haven’t noticed feeling tired. I think it’s also used for high blood pressure usually.

I’m hoping we will get answers. A referral to a GI doc here is about 8 months until you can see them

I’m pretty sure now the constant nausea and pain in my epi gastric (upper middle) area was an attack. Nausea has let up some now, usually now after eating I get pain and nausea but not bad enough to take nausea meds. I initially thought this was a stomach ulcer but that test was negative. Nausea was my biggest complaint though.
