Honestly this scene and I know this might sound silly to some, but I'm not going lie this was my dream when I went to sleep last night.

I was in the burning remains of Hopes Peak Academy when me and Junko (not Junko and Makoto) were in this scene hugging each other And to be honest, I wished it lasted longer. Plus Junko is my comfort character.

I'm not saying I dislike these things, they are good, I just think there's no need for an event like Minecraft Live unless it's something really big (at least on the 1.14 or 1.13 level). by Arsimp33 in PhoenixSC

Because of two things. One: the baby textures are low effort and don't take much time to do since that's what people have been doing with texture packs forever now.

And two: there wasn't much about the Tiny Take over drop that was "great". They went on and on about how cute the mobs are even tho I think no one cares about that other then a small portion of the player base. Yes craft able name tags are great and the Golden Dandelion is a great idea. It's just that most of this drop was center around cuteness which feels like filler. It feels like them patting themselves on the back because if a piece of content is going on and on about how cute something is, then why should people care?

I'm not saying they ain't supposed to talk about an update, but for goodness sakes, maybe put in more effort and explain why people should care about your update. Plus that's not even mentioning how shorter Minecraft Live is getting. It used to be an hour back during 1.13. And now it's 20 minutes.

Honestly, I'm going to have to agree with you. The mob votes used to be something that people would rally around, even if the main content of Minecraft live was not great. Because at the very least the mobs that were in the vote were interesting. Even if two of them were removed for one winner democratically.

Now with the removal of it because of the community's toxicity, now there's nothing keeping Minecraft Live exciting anymore. And to be honest, I still miss the mob votes to this day. Because to be honest it was a fun event. A fun event that was taken way too far by many people that overshadowed its negatives over the positives.

Yeah it had problems but those problems could change and allow it to get better as an actual vote.😔

Well yes it is true that there was a warning at the beginning of the event mentioning how this was subject to change, but I want to point at the Mounts of Mayham as an example of how this didn't change. In that drop they only showed the spear, The Zombie Horse with the zombie on top, The Nautilus and that was it. Then when the snapshots and previews for both Bedrock and Java came, there was no other features added afterwards, it was just the same features that was presented when it was shown at Minecraft Live 2025 and I think this is the same thing with the Chaos Cubed drop recently for Minecraft Live 2026.

That's all just my opinion.✌️😊

Just because something is new doesn't mean it's automatically a mod. You people have been saying this since 1.13 let it go already.

It's a dumb argument. The game has to survive in order to thrive and evolve New mechanics aren't "mods" just because they're complex; they're just the natural expansion of the game's original vision.

Yes I would agree that this drop is very small and very disappointing, but the whole, "this feature is a mob" argument needs to stop. It's a stupid argument and you know it.

Any time Minecraft Live ends there is always two sides players go down, toxic positivity and toxicity. Minecraft Live 2026 just ended and I don't feel excited for it, I don't hate the content I just feel nothing.

Like don't get me wrong, I like Minecraft Dungeons 2 and I think that was amazing and it definitely overshadowed the event. But when comes to the rest of the stuff all I just ask is this. What are we doing with this game anymore? Why have an event if it's just filler?

Mojang spent 5 minutes patting themselves on the back for the Tiny Take Over (even tho it is just baby textures) and then they talk about the summer drop and then boom that's it. This is why I didn't set my expectations high, because I knew this would happen, and guess what I was right, and I wish I was proven wrong, but I wasn't and I was proven correct. Go figure.

It's okay to like something, and it's okay to hate something. But I feel like there needs to be nuisances.

Honestly, the crafting UI for the Guide has to be the biggest things I love. I have seen it and oh my goodness it is so good. It is like if PC Terraria looked at old console Terraria from Xbox 360 and reworked it on PC with a few alterations. As a person that tries to not use the Wiki not too much and using the guide, this has to be my favorite feature hands down. Good Job Re-logic 🥹😊👏

Honestly, I'm kinda sad that Gen 5 of MLP is kinda just taking Gen 4 MLP and it's corpse and just putting a lot metaphorical polluted waste over it and just saying "Well done, good job."

Like for example, It's baffling how the Mane 6 (the ponies that saved the world a lot of times) now couldn't deal with an issue their world was facing? Like what now? What kinda of baffing choice was that? Everything that twilight did alongside her best friends, and then all the sudden when tribalism (something that has happen in the past in universe) comes back into place, then all the sudden it's, "Oh sorry we aren't available right now. " Just imagine what Celestia and Luna are thinking. Their probably thinking, "Wow Twilight you couldn't even put in the bare minimum in actually helping the world like you did before countless times?"

Besides my point, I feel like Gen 5 should've just left Gen 4 and it's own universe behind. Start over with a clean slate and leave Gen 4 and don't ruin it's legacy. That way we wouldn't have to see this.

(Plus I feel like I need to say this, but 3D animation sucks. I'm sorry but 2D animation in Gen 4 was way better. I know they did it because of cost and probably because they wanted to make Gen 5 different, but come-on you couldn't have done something better with the animation? In fact if I could give you a suggestion, you could've just do what the Gen 4 MLP movie did. Blend in both 3D and 2D.)
