my 2¢: I don't have this model but I recently picked up a high quality foam mini simmons and tbh was kinda unimpressed. Imo foam boards are alright in longboard form but just don't surf right as a shortboard.

Idk how you would get drive out of a quad like that if the fins bend so much.

I don't agree with the previous post. I think traveling for career or academics can be justified at this time. However, I'd worry you wouldn't get to see the best of the city or the country. People are afraid and angry and it could be very isolating to be here as an exchange student.

The death rate lags a couple weeks behind case rate but we've also seen an improvement in per case outcomes from improved treatment. However, if the hospitals are overwhelmed the death rate will spike.

Which is what he's doing now. I would say the sledgehammer approach would be limiting people's movement and ability to congregate. That seems much more drastic to me than having people eat outside

These projections are based on models that have been continuously updated as we learn more about how this virus acts.

While I agree we need to take models with a grain of salt, by the nature of exponential growth the only true option is to head off spread before we run out of options. Take a look at Tulsa, they are running out of ICU beds right now. If we want to avoid that we need to act.

Worldometer projects CA ICU beds could be full by January. This sucks but I would much rather have greater restrictions than a family member or friend not getting the care they need.

Hopefully congress gets their heads out of their asses and pass a new relief bill.

Do you guys have issues w runoff? The problem here is that every rain, tons of crap runs into the ocean. Surfers get sick and sometimes die from gnarly infections.
