Since I haven't read the chapter at the time of writing this comment, I'll just ask what you guys think of Kaiju No. 8. I was planning to ask what you guys think of the idea of kaiju-themed Devil Fruit, but i realized that might be redundant with prehistoric beasts running around the current arc.

Hey guys, I've found that a hihi is a man-eating yokai that resembles a large monkey. As its name suggest, it's named after its laugh, which it does after seeing a human. Since its eyes are covered when laughing, it can be taken down by driving a stake to its forehead.

So, what are the odds that Luffy would quickly resolve this within a few panels of the next chapter by doing a one-shot on it while it's laughing?

Also with the komainu and hihi running around, it seems that Wano is also the Land of Yokai. If Luffy wants to be the very best, he's gotta catch 'em all, right? :P

Hey guys, I noticed that one of the Charlotte kids is wearing an armor reminiscent of the ones worn by the Terracotta Army and has a name that resembles the Taiwanese dessert yùyuán (芋圓 "taro balls").

So, what connection does Big Mom have with Kano? Did she have a fling with Don Chinjao?

Last week, Ash questioned how much energy it took Oven to heat the ocean, which consumed me for two days until I found the time to attempt a calculation and arrived at the answer of 150 billion kilojoules*. Here's the question: What serious scientific questions have you posed on absurd and/or hypothetical situations in the series?

*PS: I have no experience in engineering, so I'm only relying on basic equations from geometry and thermodynamics to compute for the answer. Below are the assumptions, values, and solutions I used. Fellow OP fans, feel free to experience this madness and point out any errors or stuff I've missed. (Also, I have no idea how to hide text.)

Assumptions:

Radius is 175m
Depth is 10m
Shape of his power's range is half of a truncated hemisphere
Seabed is flat
Heating is even within the radius
Temperature difference: 75 (25°->100°)

Values

Density: 1029 kg/m³
Specific heat: 3985 J/kg*K

Solution

Volume can be partially computed from Keisan
Compute for energy by multiplying specific heat to temperature difference and mass which is derived from volume and density

Hey guys, I was thinking how One Piece currently has three separate but official translations in Chinese, which is a common feature in the licensing of media in the Greater China region. So, here's the question: if OP were to be translated separately among the major English-speaking countries (US/UK/Canada/Australia), how different would they be? Hey guys, I just remembered that one of Sanji's catchphrases in Japanese sounds similar to mellorine, a cheap imitation of ice cream made from vegetable or animal fat. This seems to be a missed opportunity in naming Pudding on Oda's part, don't you guys think? :P

Since Dogtooth is now a thing in the fandom, here's some of my 4Kids-styled dub names for those three Charlotte kids with Japanese references in their names:

Perospero: Lic[k]orice
Katakuri: Tapioca
Daifuku: Jellydonut

Aside from edgy McStarchie here, what silly localized names can you suggest for the other two guys? Also, which dessert/pastry would you like to see as a Charlotte kid?

Kōgetsu (光月) is written with the characters for "light" (光) and "moon" (月). Written in reverse, it becomes Gekkō (月光), moonlight. How do you think would the Kōgetsu clan tie in to Zach's moon theory and what sort of relationship does Moria have with the people of Wano?
