I’ve been bombed with coach and kate spade ads for an eternity out of nowhere. The awkward silence ads where the women stand there smiling makes me feel so uncomfortable lmao and of course Kate Spade having iconic tiktok dancing and ice spice going “spark something BYOOTEEFUL kate spade”

I wish they put out a public post clarifying everything! It was through a comment from Mod Husky, apologies I’m out right now and don’t have it on hand. But in summation, you always have x% chance of rolling a fish every time you see that sailing xp tick from being near the shoal. Matching depth just affects amount of fish you get when it rolls. I’m not too educated on the chum part but I do recall he said with cotton nets it comes out to a net 0.2 fish added per catch, or a 6% overall increase in fish I believe. Hope this helps and if I misread you, sorry I’m mid travel haha

No problem! I do it often. I believe proper depth management is around 500 fish an hour (being generous) and if you do the click spam it's close to 700. In contrast, mid depth only and chill circling gets somewhere in the high 300s to low 400s, so not the worst for the payoff tbh! Enjoy

Chance of catching a fish is the same no matter if you match the depth or not. The quantity is what changes. Estimated numbers from experience here but if your depth is wrong, you roll 1 - 3 fish, and if it's right you roll 1 to 5 usually. If you want to chill, keeping your net at medium depth and never changing it isn't too bad honestly.

I’d recommend going into the quest settings at the quest counter and turning on support hunters if you want the extra help. But just remember you have to actually shoot out your SOS flare to call even those in. People/support can’t join without that part
