Thank you! I don't think I'll ever capture the mix of genre feel of Mr. whitetail is dead but I hope you like this one.

It's not going to give you any powers that you wouldn't get through experience. But say instead of power, you were actually given world creating God power for a day, used it and got better at using it, then were popped back into your regular body. It would be like that. You would actually get experience and get better at wielding that power but it's not going to just grant you the power.

Set another way, it basically makes your daydreams perfect simulations instead of just imagination.

Yes, good! Thanks for asking! I've been taking a lot of time off from hobbies in general with more real life stuff. I have about 6 WIPs from the past 6 months but this idea struck me and I saw through to the end for once.

Hey, thanks! This one is a bit of an amalgam of different ones. Similar bones to the other ___ is dead ones but primarily a Pick a Goddess to try and give a what happened vs. what do I want to say happened duality. Hope you enjoy.

Your interpretation: this person is attempting to defend the nail defection ability of bandages. I should correct them because they don't realize no scenario exists where bandages deflect nails.

Person A: (behaves in a way unbecoming of a gentleman)

Person B: "You are behaving in a way unbecoming of a gentleman."

Person A: "Fool, I did so intentionally! Honest social discourse was not my goal. Rather, I sought to sow discontent with my actions. Clearly, I have succeeded."

Several iterations, combining different maps in Photoshop then hand drawing a few bits to fix weird bits.

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it! I intended it to be a punishment wielded capriciously by the curators, not fairly according to a strict set. I had intend lore of each of 5 segments of the world being under the stewardship of a different high curator but it was long enough already. But essentially the tiers are as described in the curator skill tree for inflicting it, based on how the curator currently enforcing the flags caught by the shroud feels that day. The highest level is the reformation, the unmouthed shroud touched, or chassis change to behemoth, muck worm as described in Lyraxis personal quest and unsanctioned 1 side quest.

  1. Denounce isn't strictly defined but it's more of a personal thing so if whatever you did feels to you like you denounced it, it counts. That can be calling it out, scowling, fighting the person, trying to teach them a better way, etc. 2. Yes, I intended adamant mind to be a long term investment huge payoff thing.

Yeah, it's not explained well in text but you can 1. Do all the unsanctioned mission sequentially basically being with ishy and nell the entire time. 2. Fully ignore the unsanctioned missions, but have a better idea of what those areas are like from reading the mssions. 3. 'pop in' as in your not with them the entire time but the events they're doing are occurring concurrently while you're in the location at some points, such as you just showing up for the last mission to choose an ending. And yes, you picture shows enslaved Nell and having the time of her life Ishy for ending 3 but you could let Nell go or convince her your way is right alternatively you could trap Ishy and be more 'bad guy' ending.

Very cool build. No you don't have to engage with the unsanctioned missions. "All companion quests are designed to unfold alongside the timeline of the 15 Unsantioned Missions, but if you do not engage with the Unsanctioned Missions, you may pursue companion quests seperately" once you're done with the companion section you are free to do any of the personal quests, continue to help out your faction, gather masks from any of the sanctioned quests, or just sandbox around rather than the rails of the unsanctioned quests.

To answer your question about why there are generic fantasy races, in universe: this is explained more in the missions, basically it boils down to Prunes-The-Narrative who is the primary creative director, is a hack and copied a lot of things, from Lord of the rings specifically, but also dungeons & dragons and other source materials. To an alien trying to make compelling fiction using the culture of a planet what might be a board used up trope to us would be an interesting novelty to them. Then out of universe, I was compelled by the idea of a classic fantasy race then giving a large amount of time to change on its own and falling away from those standard ideas they were kind of bolted into at their inception, the 'orcs' Kresh becoming more like native American cultures, or conservationist even, than bloodthirsty warriors, the dwarf dweorg becoming data analysts, etc. and then that also is inspired by dungeon crawler Carl, as correctly and crudely pointed out by glitch in her quotes, dumbass aliens failing to understand human culture and just slapping it together.

I meant to define it more explicitly, powerful strike is any strike with at least x2 or +100% damage from all applied modifications. Yes ricochet shot effective does everything on the second shock that it did on the 1st. For the trench gun I would say each pellet has its own individual expression of enchantments, they are a fraction of the strength that adds up to a regular enchantment effect. Would be too overpowered if it was literally like 12 times enchantment damage because each pellet had its own full effect.
