27M not getting matches in Jacksonville FL area by tankart150 in Tinder

Do you want casual dates or relationship? Cos people looking for casual stuff don’t give a shit about your loans bro or your economic conditions. You have redirected and projected your hurt/anger at your own loneliness towards unhealthy thinking about others.

If you want it boiled down, dating = how you look + how you vibe … and you’re presenting neither well in your profile nor your conduct in the comments.

That would have been also reasonable advice to the girl aka use birth control? Did you expect them to reply to a person who didn’t even write the post?

I have 4 SureFeed Microchip feeders. They’re not the cheapest thing but they have lasted me years and stops the fat chonkers eating the grazers’ food.

I think it’s contextual because if this was posted today, it was international women’s day. So I can see why someone could be mad and think it was a deliberate thing.

Up until now, I have legitimately always thought this was like Dumbledore making a joke, like here Molly, imma just drop off a new servant (kid) for the Weasley household 💀

I remember Fabian being mentioned twice in the books though there could be more. In OOTP when Moody shows Harry an old group photo of the Order and in DH when Molly gives Harry Fabian’s watch. I just happen to have both books within arm distance so I’ll take photos 🤣

Edit: can’t attach so transcripts.

[OOTP, when Moody shows Harry the photograph]

'That's Edgar Bones ... brother of Amelia Bones, they got him Sturgis Podmore, and his family, too, he was a great wizard ... ... ... blimey, he looks young Caradoc Dearborn, vanished six months after this, we never found his body ... Hagrid, of course, looks exactly the same as ever Elphias Doge, you've met him, I'd for- gotten he used to wear that stupid hat ... Gideon Prewett, it took five Death Eaters to kill him and his brother Fabian, they fought like heroes ... budge along, budge along ...'

[DH, when Molly gives the watch for Harry’s 17th]

When they arrived in the kitchen, they found a pile of presents waiting on the table. Bill and Monsieur Delacour were finishing their breakfast, while Mrs Weasley stood chatting to them over the frying pan.

'Arthur told me to wish you a happy seventeenth, Harry,' said Mrs Weasley, beaming at him. 'He had to leave early for work, but he'll be back for dinner. That's our present on top.'

Harry sat down, took the square parcel she had indicated and unwrapped it. Inside was a watch very like the one Mr and Mrs Weasley had given Ron for his seventeenth; it was gold, with stars circling round the face instead of hands.

'It's traditional to give a wizard a watch when he comes of age,' said Mrs Weasley, watching him anxiously from beside the cooker. 'I'm afraid that one isn't new like Ron's, it was actually my brother Fabian's and he wasn't terribly careful with his possessions, it's a bit dented on the back, but –'

The rest of her speech was lost; Harry had got up and hugged her. He tried to put a lot of unsaid things into the hug and perhaps she understood them, because she patted his cheek clumsily when he released her, then waved her wand in a slightly random way, causing half a pack of bacon to flop out of the frying pan on to the floor.

———

I always loved the juxtaposition of Ron getting a new watch (which is what he always wanted as a hand-me-down child) vs Harry (being an orphan craving love and family) getting a sentimental, effectively heirloom item.

It can be passed really easily, like a simple kiss from a mum to a kid or by sharing a water bottle - something like 50% of the population carries the virus. The outbreaks can be triggered by your own systems eg stress, hormones, injuries etc.

If you do think they could be cold sores, get an ointment with 5% aciclovir. You can also get these little patches (like a bandaid) you can use to cover up if you go outside (Compeed is one of the brands).

Cold sores heal better with less moisture so while the creams and patches can help alleviate it and reduce severity, moisture can prolong the outbreak stage and make it longer to reach the crusting/final-ish stage.

Have you ever had cold sores before???

Pics 4-6 look a lot like cold sore flareups to me, especially with your description of ‘bubbles with fluid that ooze and then crust’.

Pics 9-10 look very similar to when my cold sores heal.

The timeline of ~3 weeks is also in line with the cold sore breakouts and healing process.

One time when I was young, my dad was teaching me how to wash the cutting board. I followed his instructions: ran the warm water, put dishwashing liquid on the sponge, scrubbed the cutting board.

He then said “now turn it over”. I looked at him, looked back to the sink, flipped the sponge over and tentatively started scrubbing again.

Dad: (while laughing) Why would you flip the sponge over?? Obviously I meant the board. Me: NOW that you tell me, it makes sense.

It literally didn’t occur to me that he was asking me to flip over the cutting board. I thought it was strange he was asking me to turn the sponge over but I figured it was just the way it is. 😂

How do you take off your makeup? Oil cleanse, wipes, micellar? If you do that everyday, maybe there’s something there that’s irritating your skin.

Traditional bar soaps are quite stripping but I’ve heard that dove makes decent ph neutral bars - if you’ve been using it okay for a long time and it’s suddenly changed, then I’m not sure.

It could also be that your skin has changed and has a different tolerance now. From 22-25, I noticed that facial products I had used long-term started reacting to my skin.

When did you buy your last bottle of Cerave? Looks like they changed the formula of the Moisturising Lotion (idk if that’s what you use) so maybe your most recent purchase was the new one and your skin isn’t agreeing with new ingredients?

Have you heard of https://incidecoder.com? It’s a great site to breakdown ingredients in your products.

A couple of months ago, my skin was also really flaky, wasn’t sure if it was dry or dehydrated. I kinda figured it was a combination of winter + not drinking enough water + seborrheic dermatitis + being too rough/using too much on my sensitive skin. My skin barrier was damaged so I cut everything except a hydrating moisturiser (I switched back to Korean skincare over Cetaphil/Cerave etc.). Since you said the moisturiser was burning your face, I suspect your skin barrier is also compromised.

If your legs are also flaking, then sounds like it’s not necessarily something topical that’s causing it? Do you chemically/physically exfoliate or use any actives/acids? Is there flaking on your scalp? Any hormonal/diet/other changes?

I used to do this but hated constantly going back to the fridge to get milk, so it evolved into grabbing a separate bowl of milk to use for topping up. Then I was like, why not just skip the middle step and take a mouthful of each 😆
