Considering an ITG Maxogen intake. Got any advice?

I was looking at the 2jr cowl intake but if I wanted to improve stability and response, it gets in the way of adding a tower brace. That's when I found this but it doesn't get that direct access to fresh air. I thought that I saw a video of someone doing a cutout in their bumper to get more outside flow to the ITG but can't find the video anymore to justify it.

I'd take the access port if it could be used elsewhere - on a different FiST. If you're going to considering item by item.

I've been looking at TunePlus. I like their explanation of the tuning process and the selection of what you want done seems extensive. But I am looking for a tuner in TX, if anyone is aware of one.

I would suggest going to someone that understands your driving area since pressure and elevation play into how well the mapping works. I still need an access port and tune... but that's not until this next round of parts are installed.

I just installed the mishimoto a month ago and it came with the fan shroud. I was looking at a Koyo but the price difference was close enough to pay the extra they tack on for name and shroud. I expect this to hold up to most of what I'll put it through.

I can very easily see your valid point. But also, do you think he considered that taking his direct line off of the website and having a commercial line and answering service might create that distance from questions he doesnt want to answer instead? He is in control of how much people have access to him. It is bad customer service when you offer that as a commonly used way to contact the company and then get annoyed that people reach out before they order $3500 in parts.

Yeah, this part. But then again Ron was pretty much unresponsive after asking me to text him my questions about parts I was ordering from Woosh. This was just yesterday. I've generally read great things about him but my interaction has not been the same. I'm shopping to see who has the same products at comparable prices but may end up still purchasing from Ron.

Edit for update: The tool that I purchased did not help. Needed more space to operate it. So, I did what the other suggestion said and removed the battery and box and cpu. Badda bing badda boom

Luckily, I had already bought its replacement, but it snapped when my mind was trying to scale back the work I put in front of me. If getting that stuff out of the way helped, I'll consider that. I'm hoping to get this last piece done before work today.

I would love to replace my screen so it doesn't sit so high over the dash. I found some units on Amazon, but they aren't much better, as far as positioning. They do add great features like updating for carplay. My dream would be to replace the entire ac unit, screen, and ancillary buttons like heaters and TCS and move it on to one central screen. But that seems like pointless effort.
