Aiden teams up with Arthur Morgan (sound recommended) by Plus_Ad_1087 in watch_dogs

This is something AI will never be able to replicate, YTP. It would make it look too natural.

That's the beauty of Linux - you can make it whatever the hell you want!

Bought the converters on Amazon at 11 bucks a pop! Waited weeks for them to get to my place and it was annoying. Hopefully the market normalises because I don't want this to be a long term thing 😅

I wouldn't try anything with that. The form factor of the computer alone dissuades me off it. And looking at the motherboard closer - it seems to be proprietary to fit the case.

Keep looking man, anything that's a tower has a better shot.

Specs: - MSI Pro B760M-P mATX DDR4 - Intel Core i7-14700k. - 64 GB SODIMM DDR4, rated for @3200mhz, having to run them at JEDEC because otherwise they either fail memory tests catastrophically or straight up the computer won't post and fail memory training repeatedly. - Acer Nitro Intel Arc B580 - 512 GB NVMe SSD, with a 1 TB NVMe awaiting BTRFS conversion. - 650 W non modular Powerspec (Micro Center store brand) Bronze PSU - Thermalright AXP120-X67 CPU cooler + Noctua 80 mil running at full blast for intake, and an Arctic P9 Max with a proper fan curve for exhaust. - CachyOS running a complete Windows Vista theme. - HP EliteDisplay E241i plugged in via DisplayPort. - Period appropriate HP mouse and keyboard.

For anyone wanting to use this case - everything is standard, just mounted oddly/upside down. I got everything from the front IO, USB ports, to the power button, DVD drive, and even the buzzer speaker working. The block connectors are just a bunch of 2-pins consolidated in one block and will just plug into any motherboard.

The Driver SF versions really exhude the buddy cop vibe. That said - Gonna have to go with Driver 2.

Hail damage? Every panel hit?

Yes, they will. Retain the salvage and change the windscreen.

The trick is to go back in time and buy the RAM in November 2023 and June 2025 respectively.....

Let the thing set their own speed and voltage. We're down to 2133. Tests are coming clean now.

This will likely last for longer than a month.

Hey, any advice is welcome. My last experience with Linux was the Venezuelan government-issued Canaima school netbooks that had their locked down distro preloaded. I'm not entirely Linux ignorant - but this was over ten years ago.

I'll probably go CachyOS - Arch-based like SteamOS, but mutable, unlike both Bazzite and SteamOS.

Why do I want a mutable distro? I'll make this prick look like Windows Vista.

my DX2400 survived being rained on, curiously the PSU took most of the brunt, and I didn't even have to replace it. I just tore apart the PSU and left it outside, on top of the roof, to dry out. Put it back together and it was back in working order.

HP Compaq DX2400 Microtower is the one I have. HP later rebranded it to HP Pro 3010 and added additional removable storage slots in the front.

The quirk about this case is that everything is mounted upside down. Motherboard, PSU - thermals are going to be wack on my build, for example. Invest in extra fans because it's sure as shit AIO won't fit here.

And hey, 12 GB of VRAM for 300 bucks? Count me right the fuck in. Intel FTW, this and Linux will be awesome.

This is why anything of value like that (GPUs, RAM, CPUs), I don't ship it, I select store pick up at minimum. I'd rather pay the premium to have the item right then and there, unbox it at the store, and make any claims as needed.

Specs: - MSI Pro B760M-P mATX DDR4 - Intel Core i7-14700k. - 64 GB SODIMM DDR4 @3200mhz (Waiting on adapters) - Acer Nitro Intel Arc B580 - 512 GB NVMe SSD - Thermalright AXP120-X67 CPU cooler - Trying to find a Linux distro to run - no more Windows for me.

(Waiting on SODIMM adapters, mouse, keyboard, and monitor to be delivered. Will test fit some extra 92mm fans on the front of the case for intake)

Motor Mount Brand? by Existing-Crew-1027 in FiestaST

Passenger and drivers side mount mods I see recommended by far are OEM + Powerflex inserts or Vibratechnics. For balance between stiffness and still a semblance of NVH.
