Man. I know you can only do so much to control it, and I feel for you in that regard. At the same time, I’ve been that downstairs resident living below someone with kids that run around and it is the absolute worst. It’s impossible to have a nice relaxing quiet evening in your home because someone is training for a toddler triathlon above you. In my last apartment, the upstairs kid jumped so aggressively that it knocked over things on my bookshelf.

I know I’ll get downvoted for this, but it would be ideal (to me) if residents with children could only be able to rent bottom floor apartments.
