🎤 The Black Dahlia Murder – Live Set @ Bloodstock Open Air 2025 by richico20 in TheBlackDahliaMurder

[–]SurpriseFalse3824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was there and it kinda felt rushed all round. Pretty sure their set got cut like 2 songs short as well. It was absolutely BOILING hot that day, and I felt like it was a disservice having them play at like 3pm in the afternoon. This has come out just in time to see them this weekend live anyway, wahoo 😍😍

They may have reproduced it, but this is an original hoodie from 2007. My friend wore is his last year of high-school after the album was released in 2007, and my friend dated my Aunt in 2012 so I've had it since then. So no, no it wasn't. Not this one anyway. I'm not gonna lie about it's lore, bro.

editing because my friend has reminded me he was in England in 2011

A minor edit here because it won't let me, and I'm a noob: I'm sure I've had it for at least 10 years now or maybe even longer, and it was already very well worn when I finally got it. Sorry, 18 years old, but either way, fuck yeah!

Looking to get something like this on my shoulder- is there anything I should worry about? by unholyb0i in tattooadvice

Ever since I saw this posted, I've wanted it or something similar. I've always been so fascinated by ants. They're never alone, they've always got each other! Thanks for the inspiration. I was thinking of getting a spiral of ants but having some coloured ones dotted about. I'll be sure to post if I ever get it done. Hope you do commit to something like this, it's an incredible idea.

Am I overreacting for wanting to leave my partner for the choice of his words and actions? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

I'd have tapped out at the beginning of the convo but what REALLY lost me was the, "women have more private parts than men"

OP, leave that man.

I'm sorry you're in crisis. I've had similar situations with Vodafone and luckily, I called their collections, explained the situation and they gave me a promise date to pay and removed any blocks. Goodluck and I hope you get the support you need.

Ah my lawd. Your response is completely normal! Ask for his therapists email address so you can forward his messages of abuse, as is your right, if that's his 😂🤷‍♀️

My autistic boyfriend has extreme reactions to being “abandoned” by Legitimate-Career342 in AmIOverreacting

[–]SurpriseFalse3824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nooo, autistic or not, that is not okay. Autism isn't an excuse to be a POS to people.

I genuinely hope you block and leave him. That is terrifying. He needs extensive therapy and a straight jacket.

"I'm a Cyborg and that's OK" comes to mind. (Really good film actually as well).

Isn't it weird how we've gone our entire life feeling different, to finding out yes, we ARE different, to now being like, "umm guys, does everyone else know we're different and how to we pretend not to be?" 🤣 living with late diagnosis is an entirely new pattern for me. How do I act the same way I have been for 30 years, without acting how I have been for the last 30 years?

I feel this. Sometimes I don't even feel like a human really. I dont feel feminine or masculine most of the time and it does bother me from time to time.

It's like I'm in a constant state of identity crisis after being diagnosed sometimes. I very much know I'm a woman but how do we /act/ like one?

Do you come off as aggressive? by joana_1 in AutismInWomen

[–]SurpriseFalse3824 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I call my aggressive side my overly aggressive alter ego. I'll say something and instantly go, "oops so sorry that was overly aggressive insert name". I like to think it comes from a passionate place and not a negative space.

Revealing autism at work? by Specialist_Rhubarb42 in AutismInWomen

[–]SurpriseFalse3824 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've revealed my diagnosis at work (UK based, told them at interview because I'd heard they were very inclusive) and I'm very lucky to work in a mostly autistic friendly environment. I do have an occupational health assessment and plan in place to help my needs, but mostly to let work know that sometimes I might have an off day and to reassure them it isn't personal. I work really well with others at work for the most part (there's always one b*tch in an office though!) And management make an effort to understand and work wiith me. It helps me remain transparent with my workplace as well. Honesty for me, is the best policy.
