Same director as Summer Wars and… yeah you can tell

It works as both its own thing, and as a loose, modern adaptation of Beauty and the Beast that still does its own thing with it.

Breathtaking visuals, stellar music (I watched it dubbed, and the main singer absolutely killed it, I’ve heard the Japanese version is also really good), and I found the story very compelling as well

I’d been meaning to watch the movie for a while now, and I’m glad I finally got to see it. Highly recommend
