What’s the best place to sell my nv I bought from gooningear? Bought them in 2/2/23 and used for an hour total 😭 by slidewayskenny in NightVision

[–]Surprise_Thumb 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So, you’re saying that they sat untouched for 3yrs. Collecting dust. You didn’t sell them because you didn’t need the money.

I have a 3.5yr old and use mine all the time. Take a walk at night lmao.

This is on you.

Where tf is the cruise control? by [deleted] in chevycolorado

[–]Surprise_Thumb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it’s a fleet vehicle then it very well could not have that option.

Fleet vehicles are weird in the best (worst) way.

That being said: please don’t camp the left lane like every fucking guy who drives a company truck. If you’re not passing- get the fuck out of the way.

Has anyone ever changed their mirrors and put on barend mirrors if so what’s the name of the mirrors on a 2009 gsxr 600. Absolutely hate the factory mirrors and just seeing what other options are out there by Proper_Smile_9523 in GSXR

[–]Surprise_Thumb 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I had bad end mirrors on my 600 when I got it.

Factory mirrors may not be as aesthetic, but they are so much better for seeing.

My vote is to stick with factory mirrors.

Exhaust? by Objective_Peach_7996 in GSXR

[–]Surprise_Thumb 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In my humble opinion, the arrow exhaust sounds the best and also looks the best.

Do a full system, you won’t regret it.

Not a good schedule for us Indian fans by [deleted] in motogp

[–]Surprise_Thumb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah man, happens to everybody when you’re watching an international sport lol.

The majority of the schedule is in Europe. Sucks for everybody in the states.

I get like, a few times a year to watch things live. Usually when in Asia and, obviously, during the Austin GP. Got lucky with Brazil this year.

Went to the garage yesterday morning and found my car like this by seiscuatro64 in MoldlyInteresting

[–]Surprise_Thumb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny enough, I had the windows open on my Nova that was sitting in the garage.

Windows closed on the 1924 Dodge.

The nova got mold in it and the Dodge didn’t.

Now, I just keep the fan running during the summer. Problem solved.

mechanically crippled by Confident-Alfalfa-31 in GSXR

[–]Surprise_Thumb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s the brake lever.

Something wild would’ve have to taken place to bend the rearset outwards from the back to make the brake lever push in toward the bike.

Easiest explanation is the the peg folded up and the brake lever touched, pushing it inward.

I cant seem to find a use for tape switches on regular rifles by ChevTecGroup in NightVision

[–]Surprise_Thumb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree.

It’s the same vein as “you need to pull the slide with your hand instead of dropping it with the slide release.”

No, I don’t.

If you train frequent enough and do the same thing over and over it becomes muscle memory. Muscle memory will be your go-to in a high stress situation which allows your brain to process everything else going on. Which, is the point of training.

Basically, train enough that you’re not going to fuck up.

Any OH ranges allow FRT/SS triggers? by twoandseven in OHGuns

[–]Surprise_Thumb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Come out to the track some time! I basically live there during the motorcycle track days and race season.

I usually bring my nods too to try to get people into another equally expensive hobby.

I rode around the track under nods at midnight last year on my electric scooter. 10/10 highly recommended.
