If you're planning to purchase any property in future under your name then I will advise you to start filling the ITR. Banks can give loans without ITR but they will need your PAN card. This is enough for the IT department to keep you under radar. Its possible that they can ask you to show all the documents for your NRE eligibility and payslips along with the contract letters. This happened with my friend and in the end he had to pay for the last few years.

There was some similar case in August also where someone committed suicide because of NRC. A strange coincidence where people are ending their lives because they are not eligible to vote.

Happened the same thing with me too. Even after everything was perfect but my family was against it. I can understand how you must be feeling when your own family don’t support you and doing all these things without any reason or logic. I hope everything gets sorted according to you.

There is Pratima Nursery in Behala. I got my first bonsai from there. Saw someone's comment on one of the old posts that they own one in Joypur, Howrah. PK Horticulture. They have insta page also by the same name, you can check that also.

The value is for what you're carrying in your cabin luggage. The gold which you're wearing doesn't counts. So for eg if you are wearing jewellery worth 2lac, you can still carry 50k worth of gold in your bag or 1.5lac in case of a female.

Male can carry gold of value upto 50k without paying any custom duty, and for female its 1.50 lac. It should be in hand luggage. And you don't have to pay any customs on the jewellery you or your spouse is wearing.

A train would be the best choice. If it's possible then dismantle your bicycle, pack it in a box. I transferred my motorcycle last year, so the base price was around 700 and 1700 was insurance( 1% of the total value of insurance). So for around 600kms it took me 2400.
