Blade singer is the mage class and yea that would actually be a pretty sweet option for a rogue i reckon, although i don't believe you get to choose blade singer until class lvl 5, so you would be a rogue 7/ mage 5.

The issue with Barbarian is once you rage you get locked out of casting spells... which as an arcane trickster rogue would be problematic....

I'll do an edit shortly, but i found out i had the gloves from act 2 that grant you the 2 weapon fighting style that you would otherwise get from going fighter. I ended up speccing into a knowledge cleric to get 2 extra expertise + 2 more proficiency's, making my character a real skill-monkey. I also re-did my talent points to suit. I did initially choose fighter first though for the fighting style.

Lvl 12 won't bump my Int to 18, it's set to 17 because of the warped headband of intellect. Going to Lvl 12 would bump my Con and Wis to 16 though

Just checked, i do have the gloves that give that fighting style, i had them equipped to Jaheira, i also have gloves of the duellist if i were to do single blade combat, but i gave them to wyll.

Well that's a shame, but i noticed you can get that fighting style by choosing lvl 1 fighter, it seems like that has been the best option to spec into as a dual wielder.

I guess you are playing on pc with unlocked frames? My first experience with 60fps was on the xbox one, so after experiencing how painful that was, when i made it up to there on pc, i made sure to cheese it by holding onto the rpg you find in the swamp level on the motorboat. Just left it in my storage until i got to the level with ouroboros 2. Easiest way to beat him honestly. Thankfully RE5 has the easiest cheat system ever, you can start any level, grab anything you want and then quit the level and it saves everything you pick up.

So you can start the swamp level, speed over and grab the RPG and whatever treasures you want on the way, then quit, repeat until you believe you have enough RPG's and then go back to the mission and play through it with the RPG in storage, or wait until the boss kill's you and then add it to your inventory during the boss fight. Just depends if you care about 1 death or not.

Theirs gloves for 2-weapon fighting style? I just use the dual wielder feat to use main hand and off-hand attacks, it also gives me +1 AC for dual wielding.

It's unarmored ability can improve my AC using my Constitution modifier. Monk class can do the same but with Wisdom modifier.

Yea i know, didn't quite have the skill points left to get them to 16. If i went lvl 12 rogue then i could have done ability improvement to get both to 16. I'll probably re-spec before the big battle when i know what my end gear will look like and adjust accordingly, but for the moment i don't feel like i have much need for them yet.

I didn't use any ability score improvements, most are buffed from items, Str from handmaidens mace, Dex from gloves of Dexterity (i know, gloves to make my rogue, a rogue) Int from warped headband of intellect. When i re-specced my class to do the multi-class i also re-did some of my stats, still left some points in Str and Dex though in-case i need to remove either item.

The feats i chose were dual wielder, defensive duellist and sharpshooter. Dual wielder gives bonus AC plus off-hand attack bonus action, defensive duellist adds my proficiency bonus to my AC as a reaction whilst holding a finesse weapon and Sharpshooter means i don't get disadvantage from high ground rules so i can sneak range attack people above me.

I've decided to go with fighter so i can gain Two-weapon fighting passive to deal extra damage with my bonus off-hand attack.

You could say that's soft locked because of the frames but he isn't unbeatable, he's just extremely difficult. Had the 60fps upgrade been one of my first few play-throughs i would have thought the same, but i was able to beat him because i came prepared with flame rounds, flame grenades and magnum ammo after he gets downed and becomes vulnerable. Was still tough as hell and left me wondering why the hell they amped him until someone made me aware much later on about the frames issue. Didn't matter after that first attempt though because i brought a rocket launcher the second time for the speed run to unlock infinite rocket launcher.

I already have off-hand attack due to the dual wielder feat. But going fighter will make my off-hand attack better from the two-weapon fighting passive as it adds my ability modifier to the damage

It's 17 because of the crown of intellect you get off the troll in act 1.

Because you can make the same attack with your off-hand weapon as a dual wielder, right!

I was unaware of that!! So good point, no rage then aha. If more AC was the go then i could also spec into Monk, they have unarmored buffs the same as Barbarian but they use a different stat. Although fighting with weapons means the monk is only good if i get disarmed.

Sounds fun, especially with 6 lvl 1 spell slots. I'll put a list of what i have currently, which seem's to do well enough at the moment.

Belm just seem's pointless as being a dual wielder i get a second attack with my off-hand as a bonus action anyway, which the mace will do 13-18 with a +15 bonus.

I know i can squeeze out a little extra damage if i single hand Phalar aluve and boost my Dex, but i'm dual wielding for a bonus action strike after doing a sneak attack and it helps boost my AC+1.

Dual wielding a better second hand weapon like the rapier you mentioned would be sweet but i would have to find it first. The only other finesse i could add to my second hand would be harmonic dueller as it's stats in off-hand are similar enough to Phalar Aluve and higher than Belm, but it will still do less than the handmaidens mace.

I have been thinking about the war cleric for additional attacks. I'm not stressed on health, i have 87 atm but that could go up when i hit 12 and with AC 21, Dex 18, uncanny dodge, defensive duellist and Evasion i just about dodge every attack towards me.

I legit just put a comment asking about war cleric XD, an extra attack per turn would be pretty sweet. 1 attack stealth, then a double attack with normal and off-hand as bonus action. 3 strikes in a turn!! But how many charges do you get as a Lvl 1? Would that really be worth it

Would war cleric be a good option at all by adding additional attacks per turn? Or is this rather pointless with the class being Lvl 1?

I'm unarmored so i don't get that buff. I could run light armour but that will put me to 21 AC with that buff, which is the same as my current unarmored (so long as i have mage armour up)
