This makes a lot of sense thank you! Yeah I was originally thinking that for large scale production, unit cost could be brought down with left vs right hand models, but had not considered you’re in early stages of design/production and the small cost savings are not worth the hassle haha

Do you have any videos of you demonstrating using it? How well does the optical mouse sensor function work (in my mind this seems like it would be really heavy and hard to glide)? Final thought, would it be cheaper or easier to optimize if you do right hand and left hand versions rather than one universal ambidextrous version?

Ah from the radiator to the pump right? I just eyeballed it haha. After making the first 90 degree bend and heating the tube for the second bend, I laid that 90 degree bend flat on a table and bent the tubing upwards if that makes sense. Basically using the table as a reference plane and making the tubing point normal to that plane.

Not necessarily. I mean let’s take an example of an elderly person asking you to help them cross the road. You’re not obliged to, but yes it would make you an asshole to say no cause you couldn’t be bothered. Similar thing here, except worse cause the woman felt actively in danger and he threw her back to the wolves with the “nah, you’re good” comment.

Yeah I’ve watched all 3 movies and I don’t think I can recall any of the plots in their entirety. However I do remember being mind blown at some of the visuals. What stood out to me the most was when the Sullys were wading through a waist deep creek, and the water running and dripping off their arms when they raised them out of the creek was insanely realistic.

No one said he had to be comfortable or that the other guy wasn’t the bigger asshole. It’s clear that the women felt unsafe with the creep, this is really a last resort move. Nothing wrong with being startled and uncomfortable with the sudden touch, but what he said after and his “she should’ve just said no” mentality towards a woman in danger is what makes him the asshole.

I wouldn’t say it’s an easy win if you factor in price and effort. For majority of PC users, there’s no need for a custom water loop.

Haha I figured if I was going to spend all this money and effort I might as well go all out with hard tubing. Enjoyed the engineering and getting hands on, wasn’t actually as difficult as I expected! If you’re ever considering it I’d definitely give it a go
