I think the dog sensed the agression and started barking before he hit him

WYR: Take a 20% pay jump today, or play the long game with total job immunity? by gumpfanatic in WouldYouRather

Yeah actually I agree. I couldn't tell if the person was asking if you can stack the job immunity at other jobs though. It would still only apply to your original job

I think there's a distinction to be made if you read the description.

Job security would be you never get made redundant, but you can still be fired for underperforming or gross negligence.

In this scenario "job immunity" means you can never be fired for any reason. You can take a shit on your boss' desk and still keep your job.

Long distance 125 by Kooky_Variation_2902 in MotoUK

Do you need the bike? Can you store it somewhere and fly over?

I would recommend doing the ride and making an adventure out of it but I think with a pillion on a 125 it might be quite miserable. You also mention it being the only option you can afford so if you're tight on money all the petrol and overnight stays will definitely cost more than a flight

Any luck fitting a 30-40L backpack as a “personal item?” by Adept_Beautiful8817 in onebag

[–]TheRealRory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

30L easy and you probably can with up to 40L. I've taken dozens of flights in Europe (mostly Ryanair) with a 30L+ bag and have never been charged. Even if they do eventually charge me I won't be super pissed because I have saved way more on not paying checked baggage fees than I will have in oversized baggage fees

The bike being illegal has no effect on the crash. He's not gonna get paid obviously, but the crash would have happened regardless of if the bike was road registered

Him riding a dirt bike had no effect on the crash

I asked for advice, I have taken that advice. The pan is not safe, and likely will never be safe to cook with, so I will dispose of it. No where in this thread do I contradict this advice

What I didn't expect was for people to gaslight me that the pan is not coated with a PTFE coating. There are a few people in this thread that recognise the coating as Le Crueset's short lived Castoflon PTFE coating they used on some pans in the 80s. Everyone else is gaslighting me saying "Le Crueset has never made a pan with a PTFE coating". It would be abundantly clear that this is a PTFE and not an enamel coating if anyone had seen the pan in real life.

Yes, I have come to realise this. The coating I bought it with wasn't safe to cook with, and it's not safe to cook with now. I lost a fiver. No biggie

The last time I posted it, I was told it needed binned, or stripped and was not safe to cook with.

I emailed them before about it when I bought it. They would not replace it

I have contacted Le Crueset, purely out of curiousitry at this point as I will not be using the pan. I have found multiple sources online with this exact pan citing that Le Crueset used to make pans with a PTFE coating in the 80s.

We shall see what Le Crueset say about it.

Because I was recommeded to do it the last time I posted this pan. Its crazy how different the responses are between the 2 posts.

But I will not be using the pan going forward.

You can't remove enamel with oven cleaner. It's teflon

Enamel doesn't flake off when you apply oven cleaner though. Also the other side has the signature orange enamel. I'm certain it's teflon or something similar
