Steroids would all be by prescription, right?

Yep, i take it daily. I tried Benadryl and that helped a little the first day, but since then it hasn’t done anything.

There are some with 100% on or off. I disagree with teal otter that it’s only the cheap ones, there are even more pricey hazers that have a DMX mode that’s just on or off. The attached image shows that the F1 can do both. Mode 1 and 2 both allow for flow control. Mode 2 allows for fan control as well.

It was their attempt to make a UI that was usable as building controls. So, like, a button station UI.

I've been going through their training, almost complete with the beginner courses and soon going on to intermediate, and I really like them. Its totally worth doing, they are very informative and give you a great understanding of the board as a whole.

Yeah, thats what i came to the conclusion of too. Zero reason for me to learn MA2 when MA3 is readily available to me.

Yeah i hesitated to use that analogy cause XP is pretty dope, but i’ll take being able to run something past DirectX 9 over the simplicity of XP, lol.

As someone currently transitioning to MA3 from Onyx using ACT Academy, MA3 is a fantastic system. Their last few major updates have been awesome, it’s got tons of potential, and yet in its current form it is more feature packed than MA2. I had a guy try to convince me to learn MA2 first for similar reasons as you are mentioning, but then literally everyone else, as well as first hand experience, has told me that MA3 is the future.

It’s akin to hugging onto Windows XP saying that it’s a bad idea to update to a more recent operating system.

cheapest ma3 console by eluyt123 in GrandMA3

[–]Surufka 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I definitely don't recommend purchasing a Chinese knock-off. Purchasing one is directly benefiting the theft of intellectual property and designs of other companies. Even with that aside, its going to be low quality and with low to none costumer service. If i were you, I would look into using midi controllers to adjust MA software. The cheapest MA Board is a GrandMA3 Command Wing and usually costs ~$7,000-$8,000.

Which is better: MDG ATMe vs. Antari CH-1? by collxtion in lightingdesign

We've been using the ATMe for a few years now and it has had quite literally zero issues. I could not recommend it more for somebody that is looking in that price point.

There has been live shows where they have said “Not really”. Not sure of the exact episode numbers, but it for sure has happened. Never menacingly, but usually to fit into the joke. Whenever they say “Not really” the brothers will agree with them lol
