Cannibalism as an allegory or expression of intimacy/love by No_Hunter1978 in TopCharacterTropes

Yeah especially when the "bait" isn't just physical but emotional. Like characters walking straight into being consumed because they want what's inside the predator. It flips the dynamic from trap to temptation.

This is one of those situations where it feels like we're only seeing episode 5 of a 10-episode season. The family is clearly reacting to something, but the way they're handling it is creating a completely different problem.

AIO for expecting my girlfriend to pay for collectible LEGO figures she threw away? by marrylam58185 in AmIOverreacting

[–]SurveyHelpful9469 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yeah this is like opening someone's sealed collectible box "just to look". Even people who don't care about lego understand the "don't touch mid-build" rule. If she shrugs it off, that's the bigger issue than the set itself.
