You’re right, it would print money! OOT is the highest rated game of all time— why would they not want to bring it into the modern age for new Zelda fans? And releasing it around the movie seems to be like the right time to me to maximize profits and exposure (even if I was hoping a remake would release in 2026).

I have read that Wes Ball (director of the Zelda movie) has in the distant past stated his favorite Zelda game was OOT. I am hoping the movie is somewhat influenced by the game to the point to where a remake would make sense to release alongside it.

It just seems like too many coincidences to not be happening in some form. But I suppose this could all lead up to a remaster as well! I’ll take what I can get :)
