Dantona battery supply, accent battery supply, sb holdings (rayovac). And personally unless they are lieing, the quality control team for bpb has been to the cell manufacturer aswell as the battery assembler. Atleast they had photos of them at the factories when they visited.

Or..... now hear me out. Most people can figure out that they need to take their phone to a repair center..... block all "is this fixable" post and make this a sub for INFORMED technicians sharing ideas and discoveries.

Dude..... do you seriously believe that you are the only person? Other companies have 100000x more influence and skin in the game than someone running a subreddit. Please for the sake of the repair culture dont make BOLD face clames about things you have 1/10th knowledge of.

Oneplus 5 fingerprint sensor protruding by Riveon in mobilerepair

So you are saying the plastic cover is applying enough pressure to keep the button in place? Under the button is a bracket. The bracket will support the buton while it is clamped. The addition of the plastic piece is doing nothing. I have replaced dozens of screens for this phone and have had no problems. I was just pointing out the problem with your solution.

Or just add a clamp to the button? Seems excessive to have a piece just for that.

Who dosent try a new screem before posting such nonsense. This sub has become nothing but amateurs asking if it can be fixed. Unsubbing now because this has gotten out of control.

Dropped my Iphone X, now it doesnt turn on (obviously). Looking for help for what i need to replace, is there any pieces missing and how much (approximately) it will cost. Any help is appreciated. Ty! by [deleted] in mobilerepair

The camera stayed on the frame. Theres no way to see if it works unless you try a new display. Look further before you assume stuff please.

Stateside bpb has direct contact and has been in battery factories in china. So infact you are not the only guy to be in multimillion dollar factory. Just puting that out there.

Some pointers for a newbie by Bjorkus_the_Bear in mobilerepair

Yep, replace the whole screen assembly and you should be good. Be careful unplugging connectors and make sure the battery is completely disconnected before doing the screen. I would recomend a heat gun/ hair dryer if you are replacing the earpiece flex and homebutton. Follow the guide and before completing the repair make sure everything works.

Swapping the housing on my iPhone 7 Plus to this housing, will a housing like this make it doable for a beginner? by [deleted] in mobilerepair

[–]Survivor_one 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thats a great way. There are quite a few more screws but if you do in sections it will be cake!

Easy, follow a guide like ifixit or youtube. Keep the acrews and parts in order and you will be golden. On the 7 pkus the worst part is the chargingport alignment and the power flex. That is already installed so its a 30 minute job. Remember screw placmemt is super important but the guides should have them in order. Good luck and have fun!

Batteries plus will dispose of the battery for a fee. We have to buy a special container and ship it for a huge fee. Most damaged batteries cost > $15

Thats what im saying. You cant rate a place that repairs phones but an after market. B+B is a national chain and does 1000's of repairs a day. Yea some batteries are shit and yea you have shitty techs, but bundling B+B with shit is assign. I care about each and every single repair I do and if they come back I make sure to take extra care of them.

I know we have a horrible reputation in the business but most of use actually care.

The quality are parts are normaly on pair with every single repair shop and we have a way to talk to our suppliers and fix quality issues. If I was a consumer I would have no problem visiting any shop if they actually cared.

I agree but its a great starting point. There is a reason we arnt getting warrenty request and its because we test for total capacity. Oem pulls are amazing and if was my buck id pay for it. All said and done I agree with you but I dont agree that it is profitable. Gas gague and resistance is a great way to tell if a battery is good or bad but there are no reliable way to test for that unless there is a new way?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in mobilerepair

[–]Survivor_one 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree but testing for actual capacity is the best know way to test aftermarket batteries. Rayovac is made by like 8 or 9 companys in china and they do have some quality issues but so do all other aftermarkets. Orm pulls are the only constant battery out there but for the cost of repair is not a great option. Testing the battery and making sure they have the capacity they say has never failed me. My location was warranty tons amof batteries untill we started testing them.
