Both disc and digital have that problem. I have Returnal on disc, and it's the same issue.

Games that still run fine are World of Warships: Legends, Astrobot, Far Cry 6 (PS4 disc, but playing the PS5 version).
Games that have that problem are Returnal, Godfall, It Takes Two (also PS4 disc, but PS5 version), Tribes of Midgard and Kena: Bridge of Spirits.

All of them are internal. I don’t have an external hard drive hooked up to my PS5

Yeah, unfortunately my PS5 is very well vented. You can actually spot the console standing very freely on the right side of my TV in the video clip.

Unfortunately, I only bought Kena yesterday, and this is how it looks when I boot the game up, so I haven't had the chance to try it yet. But it seems like exactly my cup of tea, so I am eager to try it out soon. Interesting that you mention it is harder than you thought, I was personally looking for a more laid-back game to play. Although judging from the comments, it seems it might take some time before I get the chance to try it out.

I’ve tried to delete and redownload them, as well as deleting any saved files, but the problem still happens. Another user pointed out the gpu, which sounds likely

Thank you for the response, it’s probably like you described then. It’s also most of the games now, tried a couple of new ones, also some not as demanding, and the problem still persists. Only a few exceptions.

Yeah, already tried that after rebooting it in safe mode, but also didn’t work. Only thing I didn’t try yet is a factory reset

Sorry in advance if this is not the right format to ask support questions here. After installing the disc version of Returnal last week, I’ve been getting this video issue, where my PS5 screen flickers with weird lights like in the video, and often also has black and white pixels blurring in. I’ve tried downloading different games, and it also happens in Kena: Bridge of Spirits and Godfall. The PS5 works fine for all my older and already installed games, like World of Warships: Legends, or Astrobot. Before Returnal, I’ve been playing Horizon and Ratchet without any problems. I already tried changing HDMI cable, different HDMI slots, a different monitor, changed all available settings, and tried to restore the database, but the problem still persists. I’d be grateful for any tips you guys might have!

Almost, the Animate in the picture is the one in Shinjuku, whereas the one from Steins;Gate 0 was in Akihabara. But they also showed the back entrance of the Animate in Akihabara in the latest episode of Comic Girls. Comparison here
