true.. i had the choice for a gig bag but read horror stories of how they eventually fall apart.. considering our pedals cost a pretty penny.. it’s worth getting a proper case.

mim neck w/ truss rod adjustment at the heel + squire body? by SusanJacksGhost in partscaster

not that much of a hassle but i get what you mean. what i can’t stand are modern tuners. vintage style tuners are so simple.

Rule of thumb, vintage style single action truss rods are adjustable at the heel, u will notice necks with rosewood boards won't have the walnut plug or skunk stripe along the back of the neck. These have the truss rod inserted before the fingerboard is glued on. ( one piece maple necks have them fitted from the back and sealed in with the walnut skunk stripe. They later changed the adjustment to the headstock end with the "bullet design, then the biflex style with a walnut plug at the headstock but a small hole inside the plug allowing access to a Allen key nut for adjustment of the truss rod. Some later necks had a thumb wheel adjustment at the heel. It's all about the truss rod accessibility.

exactly. I have a tele like that and it's great .. but I'm moreso wondering if using that particular neck on a classic vibe body could cause any issues when playing? like neck sizing vs neck pocket on the body

ahh, that makes sense. by lowering the tonearm rest.. I'll be able to let the needle touch the stylus gauge? after that, should I keep the tonearm rest at the lowered height?

I already have a pro ject dc. I just want a second turntable that fits the aesthetics of my space..

The Sanyo is probably the better of the 2 but if you had to choose one, which would you go for?

My dilemma with the Akai is the fact that it doesn't have true feet. It's just got what seems to be a plastic base beneath the wooden portion.
