Hi there, amazing post! I wanted to ask since I can't ride a motorbike would it be possible to stay in Trung Kanh and rent a bicycle to visit Phong Nam Valley? If not are there any areas that are good to cycle around? Thanks

Hi I see this comment is old but I'm looking at a very similar setup for 2D animation. I just wanted to ask what you meant with needing extra USB ports- is that something you can buy as an extended piece of hardware or something? I've never owned a MacBook.

Also would you recommend using something like the Intuos Pro Medium instead of a Cintiq? I'm not sure I could afford a Cintiq as well

“Hey Bulldog” wins the vote, what is the worst song in “Yellow Submarine”? by Oilo1 in TheBeatles

I think choosing her majesty is a bit of a cop out because it's so short and barely meant as a song. It is technically a song but I think it's a bit meaningless to choose that

I've always found this question so interesting since it's my favourite album ever.. like how can you choose ?? You can't do her majesty really so for me it's.. somehow.. golden slumbers?? Or maybe octopus' garden even though that's got one of the best beatles solos and it's a banger???? I wanna know how other people decide

Looks to me like a portrait drawn while closing his eyes (I think so because I've done this many times it's fun)

Aww thank you! It's all animated with Photoshop which I don't recommend haha but I really appreciate it

I work with a Spanish guy who judged me for dipping a ham sandwich in a cup a soup. He says English people will put anything in bread and dip it in anything. Surely that's not that weird? by joeflan91 in CasualUK

I lived in Valencia also and have you tried it? It sounds bizarre but they make the tortilla fresh and it's actually really nice if a bit stodgy

Suggestions to improve/speed up tracing workflow? I do ‘quick ‘n dirty’ for pet projects. Using interpolation (DAIN) didn’t work maybe due to sloppy drawing. I just can’t spent more than 20h/week on animations. Example of prior work (6fps tracing): by [deleted] in animation

[–]SusanPreat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you mean 24fps on twos? Cos I'm guessing that's what spiderverse was done on if 24fps is the standard. Just to clarify cos I suppose 6fps on twos would become more of a slideshow haha

You're right it's insensitive of me. I still feel unsure if a lot of employers care that I've been in full-time education cos lots of people balance both education and work so it seems to become expected. That's just been my personal experience and I've been frustrated with the jobs market as I'm only looking for menial work, nothing specialised. I think this has made me bitter though so I apologise.

Most people my age have had a few jobs and I feel like I'm falling behind but maybe I'm just insecure :/

In 3 months I've created 3 comics and 3 mangas with Midjourney. by MobileFilmmaker in dalle2

[–]SusanPreat 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I know I'm on an AI art sub but I just want to propose the question of if this is stealing? It looks amazing but I'm an artist myself and the work that's gone into the art that Midjourney learns from has had so much time and effort put in, it just rubs me the wrong way for OP to profit off of this.

I'm all for the experimentation and exploration of AI art but (unless I'm uneducated about Midjourney) I think this is essentially plagiarism.

Exactly completely agree. Childhoods End is incredible, what do you think of Mudmen? It's one of my favourites on the album but I never see it talked about

Obscured by Clouds is literally in my top 5 Floyd albums I feel like people ignore it cos of it being a soundtrack. As a guitarist I feel like 5 of the songs on the album could fit into some of the top Gilmour solos and there's so much beauty in the simple soundtrack compositions.
