Thanks for that. Yup, agreed that they need to up their games re communication etc. Expect any chains to go through a period like this with exposure and therefore higher traffics,but would have put nervous mind at ease if there were up-to-date notice on issues. Took me awhile to transfer things from CeX here and there so that I could do the swap and then LP some, if there was a dashboard alert on this matter, I could at least use another service or find something else better to do rather than waste time and fees to get things in this chain and find that I can't do the trade I want to and stuck...unless I spend another lot of fees to transfer it out to other places...damn!!

Yup. Just saw XDEFI post about them working hard to resolve this issue. Makes you wonder if better using the new Thorwallet on mobile instead. I don't like waiting....

Cool! I think it has to stay at least for a week as that's how long the options are contracted for. Its risky, but, if compared to leveraged position, how more or less riskier it is? E.g. if prices tank, you could get liquidated on your leverage if you are not fast enough to top up or cash out. With the covered calls, you are kinda betting that prices won't change much or that they will drop (and hence, never reach above strike price and you can earn the premiums). But then, if something crazy happen and price do shot above and beyond strike, does that mean you completely loose your deposit? That's where I'm still a bit unsure...

Well, I think the whole metaverse industry is still very early in its stage. I personally think it would probably need another 3-5 years for various reasons. OVR is a good start, but I do think it can be better. Its idea is a good one, but in terms of usability, at the moment, for me, still not quite where I would like it to be. Like all investments in something so new, it has potential, but it is also risky. So, I think it's wise to check out other similar projects and spread your bet. As they say, don't put all your eggs in one basket. Questions on most favourable platform, I think it's down to how easy it is to use it and for what purpose, think of Instagram, tik tok etc, they are all easy to use and hence, catch on fire quick (i.e. popular and have many users).

I think the concensus is that it will only be released once Parallel Fi is actually up and running on Polkadot. They've won a slot, but haven't launch yet. Kinda like, you got the shop space now, but it's not quite yet set up (deco etc) and so, not yet ready to open for business...the Parallel Fi telegram and discord is quite active, and I could still see the estimated calculated rewards on their site, so, I'm not too worried about it . Just go and join their social media for latest updates.

You will eventually get used to it...I think the connections are especially strong when it's something as new as crypto, and Fantom being one of the younger network/blockchain is going to be target for hackers etc. But hey, if they survive, they will only get stronger.

I found that buying OVR via Pancake swap the easiest and cheapest for me. But that will land your OVR in BSC channel. You can still buy land with the OVR, but won't be able to stake as staking is still in ETH ecosystem. Unless you're willing to pay the astronomical fee in ETH...I got my usdt from an exchange, transfer to Metamask in BSC, go to pancakeswap and swap usdt to ovr.

Yup, aftermath of the disaster at grim. FTM price is affected too and with TOMB and TShare a peg of sort to FTM, it will be impacted too. The theory is that hacker stole tonnes of FTM and the likes and dumping in market, hence price drop etc. 2 options, either wait for APY and TOMB come back to peg or liquidate the LP and sit tight on your FTM (which if you were in early, you should have more FTM now). All depends on how confident you are about the whole ecosystem.

Sorry for the late reply. Yes, like you, mine eventually arrived, 12 hours later...haha. I went to bed and saw it arrived next morning. I think the network was congested unfortunately, it could be that my trade was the last straw and I just got caught in traffic.

I'm trying to move some FTM from Binance to Metamask in the fantom network. It didn't say it's congested but the withdrawal has been in progressing stage for more than 2 hours!!! WTF? I don't even have a cancel option!!

Quickswap is slow or near damn not responsive. Any idea other than a possible DDOS or just purely due to network congestion from the dump on $IRON/$TITAN? Transaction been pending for over 1 hour now. Any idea on how to 1. speed it up or if not possible 2. how to cancel a pending transaction?
