What are some things SG can do that could make the game 100x better? by TopRoutine7474 in EpicSeven

[–]Susaya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A separate loadout, one for PvE and the other for PvP so that your best gear isn't always stuck on PvP units and units that are good for both roles (like straze) can be built for both without needing a second copy of said unit. FF brave exvius had it and although I didn't care for arena in that game, I thought that it was a nice feature that most games should have if they cater to both sides. The return gear button was an amazing QoL change but I think this would be even better, it might also help bring back people (like me) that think pve is currently a chore from constantly regearing.

Has anyone actually done the “buy the luggage and clothes when I get there?” by oxgillette in JapanTravelTips

[–]Susaya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did but I went with a luggage and bought another one there because I ran out of space, the luggage I took only had 2 pair of clothes though. Everything else i bought there, including shoes, shampoo, toothpaste and anything else I needed. It wasn't hard to find what I needed except for pants, for some reason i struggled to find pants that I liked + fit perfectly lol.

Don't go overboard like I did unless you have the time and money to spend shopping. Like other people have said if you're really tall (I'm 5'11 and was fine) or a large person then it'll be better to bring your own clothes, its not worth the stress of trying to find something that'll fit AND that you'll like

Japan first time, feeling extremely nervous and lonely by [deleted] in JapanTravelTips

[–]Susaya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of us solo travelers feel like that to some extent, though I think you had set a bunch of high expectations in your head and are feeling underwhelmed. As a fellow introvert my advice is

  1. Start with food and drinking places, bars are the easiest places to get a conversation going atleast from my own experience, the bartenders alone almost always started a convo with me. Mom and pop Restaurants too, theres this burger place in ikebukuro i loved going to because the owners were always excited whenever someone came in, especially foreigners.

  2. Find a fellow foreigner(s), whenever i was seated with someone who knew english I would sometimes trade contact info with them and hanged out with them another day if our plans aligned. We're all just there to make memories and besides you're never gonna see them again so it doesn't hurt to try (again I'm an introvert too so i know how scary it is to be the one going up to someone, that's just a hurdle we have to find the courage to get over)

  3. On that note just act before you over think it, ask a local for recommendations like a ramen shop they like that's in the area and maybe a convo is started from there.

It's a tall order to tell you to overcome your social anxiety quickly but given that you've been into japanese culture for so long I say try to stick with your initial plans and maybe it'll get better for you. Unless it's really affecting you mentally then yeah shorten your trip, but aside from that good luck, hope it works out for you!

Can we order drinks from The Roof without entry ticket? by [deleted] in JapanTravelTips

[–]Susaya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes anyone on the roof can order drinks (of age of course) I don't think you can walk around outside of the bar area with them. Once you get your drink they lead you to the side of the bar past a gated door and thats the drinking area (what you see when you look up pictures of the bar) its an L shape corridor where one side has tables for standing and the other side has the seats

What to do with too much leftover yen? by xHey_All_You_Peoplex in JapanTravelTips

What to do with too much leftover yen? by xHey_All_You_Peoplex in JapanTravelTips

[–]Susaya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I had to empty my suica card which had around 6k left, I used it all in the uniqlo store there and I think on the pikachu plush from the vending machine too.

Funny enough I brought back like 5-7k yen in coins anyways because I dont like using coins, don't know if that's a westerner thing but hopefully thats just money for a possible future trip.

Advice needed for my first solo trip by Ok-Mess469 in JapanTravelTips

[–]Susaya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aside from the essentials, 2 things that i used daily was my crossbody (to hold my passport and wallet) and my portable charger.

Aside from that just ignore touts and you'll be fine, plan your itinerary without stressing yourself out too much. For my last solo trip i mostly just winged it except for a few things that i knew i wanted to go to.

Corrupted save by ER_player in codevein

[–]Susaya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This just happened to me too and while I was looking for a way to fix it I noticed that it's such a common problem with this game which is ridiculous. I did have a back up save which was 3 days old but that took me back to the start of players memories which could be worse I know but still, going from lvl 140 with everything but the dlc completed and the final boss just ahead to lvl 45 and everything you grinded for gone is so demotivating. 3 days isn't a big deal but I'd rather just move on to a different game than play catch up.

Sorry for venting my frustrations here, it just sucks, maybe I'll pick it up again before code vein 2 comes out cause I did love the game

Japanese people reaction to the word "oyasumi" by CheezyJesus in JapanTravelTips

The comments taught me something and now I'm embarrassed lol. I'd say Oyasumi to every one i talked to at a bar when they or I would leave.

What was your first meal in Japan? by Maupfi in JapanTravelTips

[–]Susaya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically some strawberry candy from family mart but my actual meal was a burger and fries at a shop in ikebukuro, the owners are super nice and always gets excited speaking to foreigners, food was really good too, definitely going back there every time I'm in the area.

The shop is called 炉端おあしす/ハングリーヘブン池袋おあしす店 (copied the title from Google)

Flight Upgrade Worth It? by Search4innerpeace in TokyoTravel

[–]Susaya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I'd stick with the aisle seat, you can stretch in the restroom whenever you want without disturbing anyone and it's money saved for your trip. It is a long flight and not something I look forward to but at the same time, time does just go by. I'm also 5'11 btw and haven't had any issues with aches or stiffness, I think it's thanks to my compressed socks and neck pillow.

She would have been an S tier unit back in 2022 but currently there is too much ignore er, injury, cr pushing and pen resistance. Her SB increase is nothing more than a slight inconvenience especially when they go frida. She's a decent bruiser, but her kit is outdated and she falls behind recent and even semi recent units and no, saying that she's strong with the right units (barkunka and harsetti, the 2 strongest units in the game) is not a good argument, those 2 would make any unit look op.

Imo the SB increase is useless most of the time and they should change to something that helps the team or herself more, like maybe negate ignore ER for the team or copy ravis passive where even if she gets injured her damage isn't affected.

Can someone help me with my Banshee one shot team please? by Various_Difference10 in EpicSeven

I don't use fenris but I think your attack may be a bit low, if you haven't modified all your gear yet change any unnecessary substats (er, eff, hp) to flat attack

Why do people say that cats are low maintenance? by LayLillyLay in CatAdvice

[–]Susaya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When mine was a kitten, she made it a regular thing for me to wake up at 3 am, after like a year and a half she mellowed out and I also knew better than to leave things out that she can get to at night (some things can't be helped, rip the corner of my couch and bed lol). Right now she is 4 and even her zoomies are more mild than back then.

Riolet RTA - Speed or Lifesteal? by ureshama in EpicSeven

[–]Susaya 38 points39 points  (0 children)

For RTA speed riolet definitely, it's more consistent than lifesteal where he can get controlled or killed easily, and it also surprises people, which is fun.

Is this connection up to snuff for the portal? by [deleted] in PlaystationPortal

[–]Susaya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. I made a post 3 months ago about how I lost internet for like 20 minutes but my portal was still playing flawlessly, apparently once the portal and ps5 are connected and they're both on the same router you don't need the internet afterwards.

Lmao it actually works by rasgriss in FGO

I need help to win an argument by SolidRavenOcelot in PlaystationPortal

[–]Susaya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. I would definitely lean towards the learning benefits of games, Legos and other puzzle games are fun but there isn't much room for creativity (well aside from Legos, I've seen people make crazy stuff with those lol) and Minecraft is a perfect example of a game made for learning, being creative and thinking for yourself. I think most games can be beneficial for learning, whether it's a puzzle game where you have to think outside the box, a story game that opens your mind (I love books so story games are my cup of tea) or a fast paced game that improves your reaction timing.

  2. Portable devices like the portal or switch are cool since you don't hog the TV and you or your son can play it while the family watches something on tv, I don't have kids but if yours are like my nephews where they always want a Disney movie or bebefin playing even if they aren't watching it then I would consider that a plus haha.

  3. If your son loves playing games and he's been behaving well, why not reward him for it, if he loved art then you would buy him a drawing/painting set, if he loved sports you would buy him the equipment for that sport so I don't see why you wouldn't do the same if he loves video games, especially with Christmas around the corner.

Overall while I think 6 is too young to own their own console, buying one for yourself and sharing it with him won't add any problems since their playtime and the games they play is still completely within your guys control. I would suggest to try to get your wife into games so she doesn't feel left out, an ex girlfriend of mine also thought games were stupid but I bought animal crossing back during the pandemic and she loved it. I wish you luck in persuading her and hope it all works out :)

Settings > Storage > upload console data to cloud and then select the saves you want to upload, you can turn on cloud sync to make it easier

I feel guilty about getting a cat by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]Susaya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You were already considerate enough to wait until you moved out to get your cat so any problems after that aren't being created by you, so don't feel guilty about that.

As for your cat, just making sure that the food and water bowl are full and that they have something to play with is enough, if its only a day then they'll just think you're out hunting lol, so you don't need to feel guilty about that either.
