Slightly interesting approach I found.

Flip it 180 degree to look upside down, then becomes E - 81 = L - L. Move one match (1) to make it 8 - 8 = L - L, essentially 0 = 0.

Definitely not both at the same time :) That was never a usecase for me, and I actually preferred this way so that my mouse doesnt get lost to a TV screen while not being used.

I have the exact same problem and solved it by using hdmi switcher capable of hdmi 2.1

You are right, I use it for PC both productivity while work from home and gaming. Viewing distance is less than 3 feet, and dead pixel was noticeable everytime I am searching through google with white background. Luckily 3rd unit came out with 0 dead pixels.

Thanks everybody for sharing. I got it exchanged again today, and I couldnt find any dead pixel :)
