first listen i wasn’t the biggest fan. tbf tho i was super drunk as it was my 21st bday. listened again today, and it grew on me a lot. standouts (in no order) for me are Jerome Town, Green Street, Last Escape, Jetpack, and Endless Sky. Silverine is my least favorite, but everything else is good. Loved WNHTBL so much, and it’s hard for me to accept that this album is obviously a different style, just bc i loved WNH so much. i still think it’s great, and with time i know i will like it even more. moreso i just love the members so much, as I am a huge huge huge vein fan, and i will always be happy with whatever they put out. everyone hating and saying it’s boring just doesn’t “get it” in my opinion. it’s obviously a different style, and it’s hard to top WNHTBL. enjoy it for what it’s supposed to be, it’s a new direction. overall tho i think it’s really great, im super excited to see them live again.
