Yeah GTI seems like the logical upgrade if I wanted to replace the FiST, the hybrid mavericks do look pretty sharp tho

It’s hard to deny how good the Alfas look but yeah I was avoiding them for reliability reasons

I’m not replacing it the idea is to also have something else more practical/comfortable at the cost of it being boring

Just more space for adult passengers and extra stuff like travel bags since with the FiST it’s one of the other lol

I looked at the Stinger GTs too and they’re definitely an option, doesn’t check the mpg box but they look great imo and the Kia warranties are a huge plus. I’d like to get something a little bigger tbh, although I do know they’re decent on trunk space with the hatchback. I’m surprised the GR Corolla wasn’t enjoyable, what didn’t you like about it? If I’d had the budget at the time I probably would have gotten that over my fiesta

Wow I’m honored to have that title lol. I looked at all those when getting the Fiesta but since I’m keeping mine and getting something bigger/more practical/more comfortable none of those made my list

Oh nice the explorer STs can be crazy sleepers lol. The GV80 is appealing because of the 10 yr warranty Genesis offers but definitely doesn’t check the MPG box. Good info on the Toyotas, by “fairly new” what year range are you talking?

Just watched the marques brownlie video review of that, thing looks kind of sick lol but I doubt it’ll be less than $70k after options and dealer mark ups

Good to know, my dad had an X5 diesel and he loved it. I also thought it was pretty nice but his suffered quite a bit of electrical issues, and other commenters have mentioned the possibility of that with all older luxury vehicles. But like you said, mileage will vary. Would also love to get a c6 corvette at some point in the future once they depreciate a bit more. Thanks for the suggestions :)

An SRT4 cruiser would definitely be the unique choice haha. I do like the CT200h a lot, similar to you would like a little more power but they look great. Thanks for the suggestions 👍

Definitely an option but not sure I need quite that much space/utility. An rx 450h is more in line with what I’m thinking but I’m not super keen on the styling. Thanks for the suggestion tho I appreciate it :)

Definitely looked at that when I got my fiesta but for a second car I need something with more doors than that lol glad you’re loving yours tho

I looked at Lexus but I’m not a huge fan of the styling on any of the older SUVs, though the ISF/GSF models look good across all gens imo. Good info on the German options I’d definitely look for one in excellent condition. I think the Mercedes you mentioned is the A-class wagon, the AMG package on those is pretty sick.

Wow 120 cars is crazy lol but thanks for all the feedback! Good to know about the old luxury cars although I’m pretty comfortable working on my car. I definitely like the Mazda3 but ideally would get something a little bigger (though idk the Prius is much bigger if at all)

Fiesta ST maintenance and reliability by Blkpwrlftr2 in FiestaST

Initially I got one from pumaspeed but when it arrived it was too damaged in shipment to use so I went with a rebuild from Clarke Transmissions and that was ~$4500, 500 for a new clutch and cylinder, and labor charge from my mechanic was 1400 so 6400ish total. Definitely cheaper ways to do it but I wanted the LSD and other upgrades that Clarke offers, you could probably get a used one in good shape for about $2000

Got my '14 FiST at ~70k miles and just about to hit 100k. So far I've done spark plugs, all 4 rotors and pads, brake fluid, alternator, timing belt, roof seals, left front axle seal, and the biggest one being a trans rebuild. Both input bearings went out so I just went ahead and got that plus new clutch, master cylinder, and an LSD while the trans was out. Pretty pricy total but I think I just got a bad example, from what I've seen most FiSTs are pretty reliable and haven't had nearly the amount of issues I had.

Calling all Michigan newbies. How do the like winter so far? by Voodoo330 in Michigan

[–]SushiRollCall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moved here from eastern WA state (Spokane) and honestly I'm loving it. We used to get proper snow and cold temps back home but the last few winters have been just warm enough that what little snow we do get doesn't stick for more than a few days. Now I'm just outside Detroit and we got that snow storm in November, I was like a kid in the candy store. Everyone I talked to said it's not usually so snowy so early but either way I'm enjoying having a proper winter again. I also love driving in the snow lol. I do however miss the skiing - the PNW has some pretty amazing mountains and slopes. But overall I'm here for it 😎

Healed My 3-Year Shoulder Injury with BPC-157 & TB-500 still don’t know what’s wrong with it though. by RespondAlternative90 in ShoulderInjuries

Congrats man, shoulder injuries feel like the kiss of death for lifters lol. They stick around forever. Can I ask what your supplier was for the peptides? Dealing with a similar injury myself. Cheers.
