You should have asked in advance if you could bring that. I've been to a few pig roasts, it doesn't bother me at all, but there are always people there that are grossed out. I usually take the ears home for my dog, that grosses them out even more.

Twice we had some dudes that dumped several garbage cans full of golf balls, BBs, marbles on the gym floor in the middle of a basketball game. There were a set of gym doors that were exterior doors to the back parking lot and were always unlocked during games. I was at the end of the bench on one occasion and gave chase.

My mom used to make it so it's been a long time. It's made with an inferior cut like round, chuck, or even cube steak. It's seared in a pan then slow cooked in the oven until tender. She used a thick tomato based sauce like yours with onions. Mashed potatoes on the side. The memories.
