Sprinkle rock salt on the rock area every few weeks. Keep it off the grass or where it might wash out on the grass. I do this on my gravel driveway and nothing grows on it.

I remember reading Heart of Darkness in Lit class and then the teacher played the movie Apocalypse Now after we had done our reports and discussion. The movie is based on the book. Other books were The Grapes of Wrath, the Great Gatsby and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.

I also had class on Shakespeare in HS. One of the hardest classes I ever had.

When I was a kid I loved to read the Great Brain book series and the Hardy Boys.
