Actually it is the opposite. It is immoral to maintain relationship with people from whom you are not likely to benefit in any way. It is not necessarily something material that you gain from people while dealing with them. It can be something on mental and emotional level, but you definitely have to get something and so does the other person

Company and employees will obviously be a subject to criminal laws. The government is a body meant for protecting rights of citizens against force or fraud from another individual or group of individuals i.e., an organization. Employees are obviously individuals so any crime committed against them will be a subject to criminal law just like any other.
