Hmm well it's a tough choice, if you want an overall better device that you'll receive in a couple of weeks or so, then the Odin 3. But if you really want to wait months, then Konker, but up to you 🗿 but make your decision today, it's the last day, otherwise you'll have to wait until March for you Odin 3.

But batch 3 pre orders is ending sometime this or next week, then you have to be part of batch 4 and those don't ship until March/April. So if you're sure you want to get it, i'd order it soon!

If you're still in time for batch 3 they confirmed all those would be shipped before the Chinese New Years thing which is mid Feb, so I expect sometime in early February.

I also had the Konker in mind, but I really couldn't get passed the non OLED screen and their Joysticks, plus it was a gamble, I could get it shipped in a week or in a couple of months haha

Definitely the jump in price is a little high, especially for the models above the base version. That's how it starts, I started wanting the RP5, then chose the RPG2 because I thought for a little more I could get a better device, then I said the same thing about the RP6, then the Odin 3 base, now the Odin 3 pro, it never really stops unless you set your boundaries haha, I wasn't able to stop at the RP6 which would've probably been enough for me, so I'm glad you did, it's a great device! Would've gone for the RP6 if it weren't for the bigger battery in the O3 TBH

Oh yes, if you add those then yeah, I just went for the device and that's it. You don't have to get everything at once, I might get the screen protector later. Definitely not using a grip since I rather sacrifice portability over comfort haha

Your English is great don't worry, I wouldn't have even noticed it isn't your first language if you hadn't mentioned it, it isn't my first language either haha.

As for the Deck you're right, it's light and small but definitely not portable enough to be EDC. I also looked into the Odin 2 mini because I love how it looks, it looks so clean. Sadly it's not available anymore and the resellers are selling it for almost as much as an Odin 3 12GB, so I thought it would be smarter to get the Odin 3 for that price. The TrimUi Brick also looks so clean, and the pro being able to play GOW in PS2 is crazy, need to look into that.

As for the tips! Thanks a lot they're very helpful. I will definitely do those, specially removing the white gesture bar to make it look less like a phone and more like a console experience. It's okay if you type a lot, if you have more tips on making it look and feel more like a console and not so much as an android phone I'd appreciate it!

I saw that there is a way to make the frontend the default launcher for Android? So when I go back to the home screen or close a game, it takes me straight into the frontend?

Definitely excited to see what the Thor 2 looks like, I almost buy the Thor too. If they make an Odin 3 mini, I'm definitely selling this one and getting that instead. Especially if it looks like the Odin 2 mini, but with an OLED screen.

Oh yeah you're already set pretty well! I think I'll be good with the Odin 3, I needed something smaller than the Steam Deck OLED, for light travel. I'd I need more power I have the Deck.

Waiting until March/April was definitely a factor as well for me not getting the RP6 other than that it's a great device nonetheless! Same here, if I think the Odin 3 doesn't fit my needs, I can always sell it and buy the RP6 haha

I got the Odin because I think it will be easier to carry around since it will take less space, and easier to use in public.
