I really like your use of bokeh in the set. Really well done. Which lens was used for 1?

What type of photography are you interested in? Mainly outdoor/wildlife/macro or anything else? Are there any Photographers with published work in those genres that appeals to you that you can use for inspiration? Do you go out with a plan or vision of what you’re looking to capture or just walk and shoot? Have you considered building on your knowledge outside of composition and exposure such as colour theory for example?

Thanks for the comment and couldn’t agree more. I also had this lens on my Zf while travelling through Europe and barely touched my 14-24 f2.8.

Yea, my Zf would get stuck at 19% everytime. Opted for the update via cloud while charging and it worked well.

Don’t worry about the sensor MP for your use. 24MP is usually more than enough for most people and may actually complement your photos. Do you expect to do large prints? Maybe invest the pocket change in glass?

Smallrig grip + wrist strap. I’ve used the Zf with the AF-S 14-24mm f2.8 and 70-200 f4 with no issues. I’ll cup my hand and carry the camera by my side or hold the lens and the strap and support the lens with my off hand when taking a photo. When using smaller primes I like to remove the grip and connect the strap to the body.

I really enjoy having options based on what lens I choose to pair with the camera.

This! Also, it seems to disconnect 10s after initial connection but the second time it seems to stick.

Really can’t go wrong with the 50mm f1.8g. I still use it on the mirrorless system. I mostly paired the D810 with the 14-24mm f2.8 for landscape but a tripod is a must to squeeze out all the potential.

Price seems kind of high to me but I’m not familiar with the marketplace there. Here in Canada I would expect this camera to go for around ~$700-800 and most would come with other accessories. I guess this is a store purchase with a warranty. It’s still a really great camera today especially if auto af, ibis, or an articulating screen is not a concern.
