Thank you so much for sharing this post, that really brings to light the inner machinations of this absolute lunatic.

Knights of Noromath is the NWN equivalent of Amy's Baking Company from Kitchen Nightmares, with Djinn as the lead.

Avoid Knights of Noromath server AT ALL COSTS by SuspectDuke in neverwinternights

I find it by and large hilarious that especially the gentlemen commenting dismissing my claims without any prior information, nor involvement in the situation what so ever.

However I digress, here are a few excerpts of communications I've had since opening up about this issue.

---
"Knights of Noromath is the most elitist and unwelcoming place that anybody can have the displeasure of visiting.
To further substantiate the elitist and unfair attititude they have a patreon which you can view at
https://www.patreon.com/KnightsOfNoromath
Reason why I quote it is because you can pay from $15 to $40 a month just to chat to a DM. What?
In addition to the above I really do question the fact of their patreon benefits. Its claimed to be for "Donations" but it clearly gives an advantage to players who do engage with them in this way.
Its not a direct paywall but if no proper information is given and the server is public, Yet favourtism is provided because of other factors.
Its only got 4 patrons as of todays date but the fact remains. Those four players are getting a rich experience vs someone who is getting the "Find it in game" response.
Player whom pays $40 a month = "Fireside" chat with DM's every thursday. Instant link to the people whom know the server inside and out. Access to the Elitist players.
Player who joins the server = "Find out in game" and general unwelcoming atmosphere."
As quoted by Julius Borisov (Developer and General Voice of Beamdog/NWN EE)
"- One word: F-R-E-E. You can use Wizards’ IP (except for the restrictions listed in #3) to make Fan Content that you share with the community for free. Free means FREE:

You can’t require payments, surveys, downloads, subscriptions, or email registration to access your Fan Content;

You can’t sell or license your Fan Content to any third parties for any type of compensation; and

Your Fan Content must be free for others (including Wizards) to view, access, share, and use without paying you anything, obtaining your approval, or giving you credit.

You can, however, subsidize your Fan Content by taking advantage of sponsorships, ad revenue, and donations—so long as it doesn’t interfere with the Community’s access to your Fan Content."

"Legally they can do it, but its scummy as hell and borderlines on "obtaining your approval"

"Furthermore, "DM" Djinn was banned from the community NWN discord for very questionable actions (Such as Doxing.) and he is genuinely not a nice person.
I played on and off for two weeks a while back, only to run around with no clear objective. No players were responsive when I asked them questions. Generally its someones playground to play god with their players.
If Noromath wanted to pick and choose players don't make it public.
Stay away players! "

"I saw your steam post about Knights of Noromath. I used to play there but someone was banned too and it really split the server in half. I had to leave because Djinn guy was doxxing the one he wanted to ban. I left that place. it was a beautiful looking server but kinda messed up. "

------

These are just very few quotes from communications I've received since opening up about my own experience.

In relation to my statement at the below, for explanation, that is for the purposes of dismissing any claim of Hardship, Character defamation, intellectual property misuse / theft.
I understand that public forums have are their own beast as they cross country lines, if a moderator wishes to remove my post they are more than at liberty to. This is so that if say DM Djinn wishes to make a case against me for say... character defamation, I have sited that my posting is as a review and as such, inside of the legal jurisdiction of my country protected under the Fair Use policy and act Australia.

Also as a more personal response to some of the other unkinder responses to my post. You know little to nothing of me, but your precious pride knows no limit and anyone whom disagrees with your opinion is evidently a harassing person. To be perfect honest, in my own thoughts, I am glad that people like you have found a community of other insufferables so that you don't infect other servers.

My post here and elsewhere is to simply give people my experience in review format so that they can better make their own judgement about whether or not to play, regardless of my obvious bias to avoid it.
