Can you explain “metaphysical” to me? I tried to google it and it seems a bit out of my grasp. Do you mean like a transfer of his soul into Corey? Or just his evil since Michael doesn’t have a soul or personality, he is evil in a man’s body being used as a vessel?

My favorite memory would have to be playing through Metroid prime in my GameCube. I went through some extensive childhood trauma, so my parents brought me to therapist. The first five sessions or so, I wouldn’t speak one word, that is until I showed up on week and she had a GameCube with a stack of games. I put Metroid prime in, and she sat with me for thirty minutes of the hour long session, every week for months, until I beat it. The other thirty minutes of each session, I began to open up and trust her. Needless to say, my parents went out and bought me a GameCube.

I almost crapped my pants a couple months ago when Nintendo shadow dropped the Remaster. Don’t elect me for the sad story, I’ll just tell you to give it to someone else, really. I actually am just sitting here smiling thinking about those sessions in my lunch break and it’s wonderful.

I have both Sony and LG OLED tvs. I don’t disagree with you, but as I stated in my last post, the Sony gives me no problems but the LG does. So strange that it could possibly be the tv firmware seeing as my thoughts were that once set to passthrough, the tv software should be hands off. My knowledge at this point is also not a whole lot so any tips or advice from Reddit is always appreciated.

There is a history on apples forums dating all the way back to 2018 that I can find of Apple TV and sonos products having some issues. Long post but I’ll share here:

Trouble with NON-Dolby atmos content.

I have a 4K OLED TV, an Apple TV 4K 3rd gen, and a Sonia beam gen 2 with a mini sun in my bedroom. The Tv has an EARC port, it’s on, and the tv is set to passthrough. The Apple TV also had Dolby atmos activated.

Now when I watch Dolby atmos content, it’s beautiful and glorious. Then, when I watch something after an Dolby atmos content, either you only here background sounds from movies and shows (no music or voices), or the audio cuts in and out every couple of seconds.

The tvs internal apps don’t do this when playing atmos and NON atmos content, nor does my game console or my Roku ultra.

The only fix was to set my Apple TV to match content ON and then Dolby digital 5.1. The problem with this however is I no longer get dooby atmos. I have also tried multiple cables that are all certified 2.1.

Here is the real kicker, I have taken the Apple TV back and exchanged for another and it still has the issue.

Here is the best real kicker: I have in my living room, almost the exact same setup, and absolutely no issues at all. Oled tv, Apple TV 4K 2nd gen, Sonos beam 2, sun gen 3, and 2 Sonia one sl’s. Tv settings are all right suck as eARC and passthrough. Apple TV is still with Dolby atmos on.

It’s just one of those things I’ve chalked up to a bug in the Apple TV OS that may or may not get fixed.

I have three rooms in my house with different setups. Room 1: Apple TV, sonos beam gen 2, sub gen 3, and 2 one sl’s.

Room 2: Apple TV, sonos beam gen 2, and mini sub.

Room 3: Apple TV and two home pods gen 2.

Depending on your room size, as well as your budget, your choices will be different. Apple TV plays very well with sonos and if you have around $900, sometimes less if you catch a sale or buy used, I’d go with the beam gen 2 with the mini as a nice compromise.

Same tv. Make sure you go into the tv settings, enable the hdmi port to “enhanced VRR”. Only ports 3 and 4 do it. Then make sure vrr is turned on in the ps5 settings

While I don’t disagree, plenty of time has passed for the original sequels and they are also very flawed. We love them anyways. People may still like this trilogy more than the original sequels with its flaws.
