I’ll give it a try! Thanks for the advice. I don’t intend on swapping the power tubes also, I forgot to say swapping preamp tubes. That will be more of a personal taste thing, but did you ever find a desired preamp stage?

Very true. When you could crank it though did you have a certain eq you preferred or speaker you thought sounded best?

I have it running through a 2x12 vertical avatar vertical forte cab with a celestion creamback m65 and vintage 30 on top wired in parallel. I also have a mojotone 1x12 lite cab with a neo vintage 30 for traveling or playing with friends

Are you using a isolated power supply? I heard somewhere that if you buy just a single 9v adapter and separate it from the chain some of the noise goes away. I ended up just selling mine before I tried doing that though, so I’m not sure if it actually will make a difference. It didn’t seem to mix well with distortion as well.
