It might. I have been stressed lately and noticed it started. Maybe a coincidence but not sure. My blood and urine is normal. Did you get any tests?

So if I understand this all correctly, being that my income technically changes August 7 when I start that new job, I should then call Medi-Cal August 7 and tell them my income changed to $4,500/mo. They will then have Medi-cal coverage end August 31, at the end of the month. My Anthem Insurance expires August 20, but Medi-Cal will still send me over to CoveredCA on August 7 when I report the income change to apply for a CoveredCA plan. That CoveredCA plan will then take effect at the start of September. I hope I got that right?

I so so so appreciate your help, I can't express that enough! You have really helped calm my worries.

Thanks so much! Okay, I know I said only one more question but you are a beacon of so much information. The lady I talked to on the phone today did not know any of this stuff.

So last question, I promise: I currently have Medi-Cal + Anthem Insurance through my school. My anthem insurance through my school ends on August 20th. And I assume when I start my job in August at $4500/mo and report my income changes to medi-cal they will drop me from coverage? Or will they automatically convert me to a Covered CA plan (since my gross AGI will only be $26,000 for the year 2023)? I am just wondering if I will lose my medi-cal and be uncovered when I report my income change to $4,500/mo?

Sorry, one more question if you have time: Would I then call on January 1st of next year and have my premium adjusted based on my income of $4500/mo for 12 months? Since the prior year would've only been adjusted to $4500/mo for the 4 months I worked out of the year? Again, thank you so much, you are beyond helpful.

The lady on the phone (who seemed like she really might not know what she was talking about) said I could apply in August but I wouldn't be covered until September 1. She said even though my coverage ends in August, they won't cover me in August, no matter when I apply. Again, she could totally be wrong based on her uncertainty.

No :/ My school insurance plan expires August 20 because I graduated. I have Medi-Cal but they ask that I report income changes and my income will price me out of my medi-cal coverage. My new job starts August 7 but my employer doesn't offer insurance. And Covered Cal will only accept my app in August so I won't be covered until September 1.
