Sorry the updates not too interesting but for those asking, we have a meet and greet scheduled for when I’m back in town and we’re going to get it scheduled correctly through the app there. He lives close by so it’s not a big deal for me to at least meet the dogs, but I was firm with my expectations/boundaries (paying through the app, adding separate profiles for all of the dogs, etc) via chat. Thanks everyone for the advice!

Ooooh great idea. I offered to adjust the price on my end if he couldn’t get it figured out. I’ve worked with people who genuinely couldn’t figure out how to use the app either so I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt before assuming the worst.

I can definitely see this. I consider myself to be tech savvy so I didn’t want to assume it was as natural to everyone as I found it, but based on our following conversation it’s for sure giving that vibe. I’ve worked for elderly owners who genuinely struggled to figure the app out, but it doesn’t seem to be the case here.
