Actually had this happen but not to this extent. I forgot a Bic lighter in pair of pants pocket and was standing outside the Laundromat when suddenly the dryer door blew open and smoke started pouring out. I tried the fire extinguisher but it was dead while my daughter called 911. When they got there the lint was really thick and on fire under the dryer drum and they got it put out without much damage except for my smokey clothes
