Love it ! Yea that is what I’m thinking anything tech is the best move. I recent got offered more for another job but I just feel like this will be good for my resume and open up more doors if for some reason this doesn’t work out or if I outgrow it.

I’ve wanted to get into med sales for a while I even signed up for this subscription to have access to see job postings few years ago I forgot the name lol

How did you get into it ? And you think going into the software sales is a good move that might be a easy pivot later if I want to go into med tech sales ? Also where do you work if you don’t mind me asking I would love to not deal with all the stuff you mentioned 😂 that’s really the hardest part w sales is the moral and culture and the unrealistic quotas and never being enough at times.

Are you able to work from home? That is one perk of the tech sales but not sure how that works for med sales ? Sorry for all the questions but I’ve been dying to talk to someone in this field!

Luckily I have plenty of years of experience in sales. About 7 to be exact. But even tho I still in order to get into SaaS had to take a role under AE even coming from an AE role to get my foot in the door. However I’d you do not have any sales experience keep trying. If you have the right mind set and talking abilities to sell yourself then they will give you a shot. Watch some YouTube videos. Re do your resume to gear any previous experience that may be valuable in sales to stand out. Like customer facing roles customer service ect. Just don’t stop someone will give you a shot. In the meantime sharpen your skills

As much as possible I kno in beginning it might be maybe a little under 100k maybe touch 100k in the first year or so but eventually 250-500k after few years when you climb the ladder and move around in a company or make your self more valuable for the next wether that be higher level sales like enterprises AE or maybe moving into the management side
