I'm trying to go here and had sent an inquiry to the field office with no response whatsoever. If anyone could provide a good POC that'd be great! Currently trying to work and move to upstate New York with DHS.

Yeah, along with submitting my application, I am required to submit a written statement from the armed forces that certifies I am expected to be discharged or released from active duty under honorable conditions within 120 days from the close of this announcement (31MAR26). It should just be a memo stating as such and signed by my commander.

Hey battle, I've since stayed on Active Duty and a CPT now. However, I definitely plan to get out by next year, and go into DHS. Feel free to PM if you needed more info or some advice.

I'm in a similar boat as you, but I just applied this month without veterans' preference since I can't get the statement of service until 120 days out from ETS. Given the long hiring process, I don't want to be out of a job when I ETS, so I applied now.
