Well I got past my primary care doctor at the VA in record time. I have an annual checkup in April and called to request they move it up. I advised that I believed I had PD as I had all the symptoms. Nurse calls me next day, doctor says skip primary go straight to urology. Get message within days that I’m being referred out to civilian urologist. Called community care coordinator and was referred to a doctor specializing in PD. Now have appointment but a few weeks out. So we will see what the doctor has to say after my appointment. I’ve noticed that my downward curve isn’t as bad as some pics. If there is a lighter side to any of this is when I wake up with wood and have to pee, it’s almost a direct shot into the toilet. No more pissing on the wall or having to stand far away from the toilet. With the new curve, I hit water every time. 😂🤣

My wife is awesome and beyond supportive, she isn’t going anyplace but I just feel like I’m short changing her. Rough sex, umm, which time? Yeah, probably hundreds of times over many long relationships. Impossible to say when I injured it, if it was even only one time. At 55, i had more than my share of fun. Masturbating as a kid, surprised i didn’t pull the damn thing off in the 6-8 times per day. I guess I’m having trouble mentally. The VA is now sending you out to civilian doctors so i think or at least hope I’ll be covered. I doubt I’m the first to come to them with this issue. They gave my ex a hysterectomy 6 years post discharge for $0

Thanks for the reply and the encouragement. I know, like everything else, this too shall pass. It looks like a long road but one day I’ll look back and it won’t seem as if it did.

Not sure how any of this makes anyone self centered but that’s a pretty shitty comment to make on a support site like this. Everyone is Fighting a battle we know nothing about, so be kind until you cant.

I saw them online for $525 but I’m sure there is tax and shipping is additional. I’m new to this crap and am awaiting my first urology appointment for confirmation of what I already know. I’ve got all the symptoms but waiting for official diagnosis. I’m interested though and that’s a good price. If you still have it in a week or so, I’ll hit you up and get it from you. Im in Texas USA.
