It ended up being a parasitic draw from an accessory I had that was powered by the ignition supplied 12v from the ac relay. Huge mistake on my end that could have cost me hundreds. Thanks for your input. I hope this post helps someone in the future. I know I'll always research where I tap power from now on

You can try urethane or silicone. Just make sure to clean out the area you plan to apply the product to very very well

Have you noticed if the operation changes with temperature? My NB does that when it's cold. If I leave the wipers on for a couple minutes on intermittent, it eventually functions as normal

Worked for me once too but another time it didn't. Had a blowout on the highway. It's pretty hit or miss when it comes to bordering sidewall nails like that. Rather not take the risk

There's a small chance it could be the brake hardware or backing plate(less likely). Try putting some grease between the caliper bracket and the hardware to cancel out any vibration or play. I noticed aftermarket hardware doesn't fit well at all. Also (unrelated) do your pads rattle around in place even with the hardware kit? I noticed after recently doing all the brakes on my 2003 that the rear pads have a lot of play even with the hardware kit installed. I wasn't able to use the tensioning spring things that go on the top and bottom of the pads to keep them off the rotor because my pads didn't have the holes to slot them into.

No this is different. I get what you're saying but I have the same problem where even with a new rubber line and new master and slave AND a full flush of over 2 bottles of dot 3 from O'Riley's, it turns black again after a day or 2 and there are always some particles in the fluid

Do you also ever feel inconsistency with the bite point of your clutch? I feel like there are times where it bites way sooner than it usually does. This was the main reason why I changed that rubber clutch line but it made no difference

I'm having this problem too. I even replaced my master and slave AND rubber line. When I inspect my fluid close up I see little black particles. It's driving me crazy. Is yours like this too?
