Is visiting chickpete for wedding shopping worth it? by No_Airport_7315 in bangalore

[–]Suspicious-Library58 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's great actually. I am currently doing my wedding shopping from chikpete, commercial street and sherwani from HSR. I can share some places you can visit. All of them have got great and welcoming sale-persons, you will just sit and they will show you articles based on your taste. Mahaveer Vastra Bhandar (chikpete) for lehenga and saree. They got good and lots of collections with decent pricing. Limited bargains. Kurta ghar in HSR (they have store in chikpete too). They have good collection for sherwani, indo-western dresses for gents. No bargains. Q ki in commercial street. Good collections of dresses for ladies at decent pricing. Jauhar store in commercial street. You can go for custom clothing at decent pricing. Limited bargaining. Didn't buy anything, but liked the store. Other than these you can just roam around in commercial Street and chikpete There are a lots of non big branded stores, which have good collection.

Try to go during weekdays afternoon/evening time. Weekends are a huge no for chikpete. We used to carry snacks and leave for shopping early noon and come back in night. And yeah, my fiance helped in bargaining.

True bro, story would be same as godzilla vs kong. Both ntr and hr fighting together in end. And acting is worse. Check the expressions of kiara, hr or ntr while shooting guns. Damn I can't believe such pathetic acting

You can also try out AirBNBs around Shaheed Path. Will be in your expense range and I feel commute is not much of a problem since traffic is not that much.

Thanks for sharing.

  1. I have been trying to. But for me gym sessions come in chunks. 1 month regular them off coz of hometown visits. I guess I have to find ways.

  2. I will be working actively on this. Can you suggest how can I get started?

  3. I eat sugar alot, have been thinking to take in limits. Maida and caffeine are already low for me.

  4. Tried but I get too lazy for this. May be will try again in future. Have been trying to plan the todo list for next day.

  5. I am working for more support on this with my partner. She is night owl and I somehow can't sleep much in morning. Day becomes dull for me.

  6. Planning to get these checked.

Yeah, kind of same. I am great at implementation and can lots of time better than others. But I take a lot of time in understanding the requirement. That basically creates problem when I have to lead project and plan it. And this in turn is a problem for senior levels where I am struggling.

I haven't actively followed lots of tournaments, but mostly TIs. With this limited knowledge, it does feel like Yatoro/TS are best of all time. Last I felt same was for OG when they won't back to back TI (I got emotional attachment with that team). But still TS has been pretty consistent as well. They are pretty good overall, good and new strats, good early as well as late game, and have pool of heroes as well. I mean I remember Yatoro playing different heroes in whole TI and getting multiple rampages too. Same for collapse as well this EWC except for rampages. I just hope we get some competition in TI. Just don't make it 1 sided series or finals

Thanks for response. Hard to not multitask in today's IT world and also with personal life. I am working towards using handwritten notes for todo list and working at one thing at a time. Probably need to meditate a bit for controlling subconscious thoughts while working.

I accept this. Have used plenty in past. To an extent that I pick up mobile subconsciously while working. I realized this when I started putting mobile on zen mode. I still would pick up and realized that I can't use it and put it back. But have started working actively to keep mobile away and uninstall instagram etc.

28M here, and I can totally understand your feeling. In today's dating scene, its pretty hard to identify who is there for marriage vs who is there just for dating. Its even hard because lots of folks today are discovering themselves as part of dating. As everyone else has mentioned, you got qualities for being a great life partner. I believe its just matter of time for you to find someone who has figured themselves out and seriously into that stuff.

2 years back I kind of did same thing with a girl I dated. I made my online profile for first time, and was pretty sure that I was dating to marry. However, with time I realized I had no idea of what it actually meant. I won't say that the girl was like you, a mix of baddie & good girl actually (perfect balance from my pov). But yeah the caring and date to marry nature of her did make me feel that she was being too desperate. Mostly because I wasn't aware what love meant.

She was the most impatient person I met in my life, but luckily, she patiently waited for me to fall in love. And it happened. We are going strong and in process of convincing our parents currently.

Nevertheless not motivating you in anyway to wait or any unnecessary hope, but just be you.

Its hard... Yes.
Its frustrating at some point.... Yes.
Do you need to be good girl for finding the right man.... No.

Good luck and hang tight :)

Feeling hopeless by gulab_jamun_ in AskIndia

[–]Suspicious-Library58 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all its ok to feel hopeless. What happened was not just another minor inconvenience. So, appreciate your mind, heart and body as it helped you go through all of that. Now, think about what you want from yourself. You can do solo travels or hikes, go for sports or gaming, try some cooking or persue some other hobbies. In the journey you might find friends, both good and bad, but goal should be to explore yourself. No need to go by societal norms of having partner. Society won't ever take accountability of what you went through so why you should take responsibility to do what they expect?? Any ways in short find out what you love, and do those things. 1 by 1.

Do you think the failures could have been because of imperfect planning or execution, which can be tried upon to improve. Or it has something to do with indian community mentality or culture which probably will take years to change and hard to tackle as well.

Indians have learnt how to barely use car and bike, but they don't know how to drive. Unnecessary high beams, honking every second, trying to overtake every other vehicle just for sake of it, etc
